The house is located at the secluded end of the village of São Francisco da Serra, only 13km from the ocean and 15 min by car to some of the best beaches in the South of Portugal. The house has its original rural character and atmosphere of the Portuguese houses from Alentejo region, built on the hill, surrounded by the cork and olive trees, providing calm, quiet and views of the starry sky and amazing sunsets.
A typical Portuguese country house from Alentejo region, rebuilt in a very sensitive modern way to comfortably welcome 5-6 people in total respect for the original integration in the surrounding landscape. There are 3 separate rooms and a common space connected to a large kitchen. Two of the rooms have double beds and separate entrances/doors to the terrace in front of the house. The third room has double sofa bed to accommodate easily one ore two more persons. One bedroom has its own luxurious bathroom with a shower, a bath tube and an amazing view to the cork trees. Another bedroom has the common bathroom next door, provided with a spacious shower and a large mirror, as well as the view to the cork trees. The modern kitchen, fully equipped, has an old wooden table for 7-8 people along a large window connected to a external patio. The Kitchen provides cooking appliances, induction board, oven, big fridge, dishwashing machine, plates, cups, frying pans and pans for cooking, bowls and cutlery. The kitchen is directly connected to the leaving room with a beautiful fireplace space and a comfortable sofa.
