Cabana Beach Club by RVA

Tämä rannalla sijaitseva huoneistorakennus tarjoaa asiakkaittensa käyttöön grillausmahdollisuus ja piknikalue. Huoneistossa on keittiö, jossa on jääkaappi ja mikroaaltouuni, sekä ilmainen Wi-Fi, televisio ja kaapelikanavat. Asiakkaiden käytössä on vuodesohva, oleskelualue, DVD-soitin ja kahvin-/teenkeitin. Siivouspalvelu ei ole saatavilla.
Huoneisiin on kulku ulkokäytävien kautta ja niissä on DVD-soitin ja kahvin-/teenkeitin. Näissä yksilöllisesti kalustetuissa huoneissa on oleskelualue ja myös keskisuuren parisängyn kokoinen ja vuodesohva. Kaapelikanavat takaavat viihteen. Keittiö, jossa jääkaappi ja mikroaaltouuni. Kylpyhuoneista löytyy suihkun ja kylpyammeen yhdistelmä ja ilmaiset hygieniatuotteet.

Long Boat Key is a beautiful place to vacation

The property itself is kind of old and the outside looks a bit run down, but the unit we stayed in, #2, has been recently renovated and is very comfortable and clean. We initially had some problems with the key, but it got resolved. Also had to call to have the AC filter changed because it was way overdue, and they came quickly to take care of it. We had a nice vacation.

Nice location and view of the beach

This unit is located centrally on Longboat. It is the first multi-unit building after a long line of big homes to the North. So when you are on the beach and look to your right, it is nice and quiet. If you look to your left there will be people from the other condo units which continue to the south. But, they are low rise, smaller condos so the beach was not real crowded that direction either. There is a nice view of the beach from the kitchen and the closed in patio. The unit is clean and neat. The bedroom and bathroom are a bit tight. You can hear your neighbors a bit too, but thankfully we had fairly quiet neighbors. Overall, we liked it and would stay there again. We definitely recommend eating at Harry's restaurant just down the road. Euphemia Haye was good too and somewhat of an experience, but it was pricier and we both liked Harry's better.

The unit is run down. Worms were attracted to floor according to management. The TV got one station. The kitchen sliding door would come off track, making it difficult to lock and secure the unit. The outside man door opened outward.

Nice affordable room. Couldn't ask for much more

Room was nice and clean well stocked and cool. The bed was just ehh but everything else was great. Plenty of towels and bathroom toiletries. I would say if I could as for something a bit more it might be parking. It was a tad tight with the condos on our side of the road but we got through it no problem. Beach was cool when we went by kids loved the heated pool. For the money I felt we got everything and then some. I saw some complaints about check in we came after 5 and after calling everything was waiting for us no problem. In fact I think overall we spent about 2 min with check in and check out!! Perfect.

Where Not to Go on LongBoat Key

We visited Longboat Key June 13-17 and booked the Cabana Beach Club. This is our worst resort experience from checking in, the room, or people who “managed” it. Checking in was horrible! We arrived 5851 Gulf of Mexico Dr at 4:30PM and tried to find an office; there was none, a mailbox held brochures but no info re checking in. A lady said we had to go to 4030 Gulf of Mexico Dr to check in. Two miles to 4030 an RVA office next to ACE hardware. The office was closed; it had a late arrivals box w a padlock and an 800#. We called and got someone who did not know and put us on hold for 20 min; I hung up and called back; we were again put on hold. My husband went to the ACE; ACE knew the #, obviously others have been in our situation. Our packet of info was there, ironically saying to come to 4030; all this took nearly two hours. At Cabana Beach Club Unit# 11, we found dirty/torn chairs, a rusted apart bathroom holder, a door to the canal that did not work, a lock on the gate that fell apart each time we used it, a phone that kept ringing, a hair dryer that got so hot you could not hold it, and a dirty swimming pool that we could not use. We went to the office the next morning and were faced with a rude service representative. We talked to the manager who said he would call us the next day;we have not heard from him or RVA. I tried the his card numbers; I left messages; they have not returned our calls. Please take them off your list!!

Perfect Beach Getaway!

Loved the Cabana Beach Club! My only issue was I was a late arrival and the main office is not on site. It was never indicated in my communications that I would not be checking in at the same physical address as the rental. Other than that not being communicated, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and plan on coming back!

Cozy getaway

There for a wedding in St Pete. The beach was clean and quiet. We were able to see a manatee in the canal the morning we left. It was a peaceful weekend away for my husband and I. We enjoyed it!

Check in ist nur bis 18:00 persönlich möglich. Office ist nicht am selben Ort wie Hotel sondern einige Meilen weiter. Schlüssel waren in einem Postfach hinterlegt, dass mit Zahlenschloss gesichert war, nur durch Zufall haben wir die richtige Kombination erraten. Sonst wären wir auch echt aufgeschmissen gewesen, denn die beim Büro angegebenen Hotkline war abends nicht besetzt und wir wurden auch trotz hinterlassener Nachricht nie zurückgerufen. Apartement schlecht beschildert und somnit in der Nacht schwer zu finden WIFI Empfang sehr schlecht und auch dieses erst nach persönlicher Rücksprache im Office verfügbar Klingt jetzt schrecklich. War es auch. Zumindest der organisatorische Teil zu Beginn der Reise. Ansonsten: Schönes sauberes Hotel in unmittelbarer Strandnähe. Nette und rücksichtsvolle Mitgäste. Traumhafte Lage, die kaum zu toppen ist. Ruhig.

Great Getaway

My husband and I truly enjoyed our stay in our little "beach house". We loved the privacy and quietness of being on the bay side, enjoying our coffee (or cocktails) while watching the fish jump in the canal. It was just a short walk across the street to the beautiful beach. The unit was very clean and well equipped also.

Peaceful!

Quiet and peaceful. Accommodations on the canal was great with a short walk to the beach. Nice to be able to cook your own meals with a fully stocked kitchen. We stayed in unit 10. Plenty of space for my family of 4. Harry's breakfast was great. Expensive convenience store but there is a publix down the road.

Amazing!

This place was amazing, beautiful and i loved the privacy. I wasnt sure about it because we were on the bayside (they have rooms on both sides)but it was still very convenient to get to beautiful private beach and being on bayside provided the privacy we wanted. The only thing i would have changed was a bigger pool but still very nice! It is a condo, so no room service per say but the rooms were nicely stock and quick mart very near by. Loved it!

Another nice stay at this affordable oceanfront

Managed by RVA/Resort Vacation Accommodations on Longboat Key, the Cabana Beach Club is a fairly affordable but also upscale (compared to a typical motel) location on the northern end of LBK. It has units on both the ocean side and canal side of Gulf of Mexico drive. The units on the canal side, where we always stay, afford the vacationer the ability to have a chance of seeing Manatees, Dolphins and other sea life right outside the back door while still just an easy walk across the street to the beach. The grounds are always well kept at Cabana Beach Club and the amenities such as pool, shared onsite laundry, free parking, and a spacious congregation area with tables and grills. The unit we stayed in, #11, features a separate bedroom, full kitchen, and large living area with combo couch/pull out bed. The place is easily large enough for a family of 4 or 5. For people with boats the club also provides boat slips so you can practically ride right up to your back door if staying at a canal side condo.

The convenience of walking across the street to ocean within the same cluster of cottage condos was nice. Pool clean. Free on-site laundry was a big perk. The cottage type condos were clean, but not fancy. Blind on door and lamp fixture were broken. Our neighbors had a large family party going on the entire weekend with loud music. They were nice when we asked them to turn the volume down at 11 pm.

The worst check-in experience I've ever had

Imagine arriving to a hotel / motel at 10 PM, it's pitch dark everywhere around the building, there is no check-in office, there's nobody to actually talk to and no instructions on where your room is or how to find it. This is not a horror movie setup, it's the Cabana Beach Club in Longboat Key. It took us about 10 phone calls to a 1-800 number (out of which 5 dropped, because of poor signal in the area), and an hour and a half of exhausting search for hotel "office" (which was closed at 10 PM), keys, building (which was across the street from the actual address), room entrance (which was behind the building accessible through a pitch dark alley) until we finally managed to get inside our room. Otherwise the room was nice and spacious (smelled a little bit like mold though), closest stores, restaurants are about 10 minutes of driving away, beach pretty nice.

Great Beach

This was a return trip to Cabana Beach and we plan to come back as soon as we can. A great place if you like an uncrowded sandy beach suitable for long walks with lots of sea birds. It's far enough away from the high rises that there are usually only a handful of people within sight. We also enjoyed the fact that a several nice restaurants within walking distance (we're fond of Harry's, a combo of convenience store, upscale deli, and higher end dining spot in 3 small buildings). Convenient bike trail all the way to St. Armands and Lido if you want that, or to other sights going the opposite direction. The facility itself is not fancy or luxurious, but it was comfortable and quiet, if a little quirky. A perfect spot to get away from it all.

Lovely location

We were lucky to get the ground floor unit facing the Gulf (great sunsets), whereas other customers might get one across the main street away from the beach. We couldn't tell in advance where we would be placed and were very pleasantly surprised. Even with one of the other units, we probably would have had a good time. This is an older (vintage) condominium and, although it doesn't sparkle, it was absolutely clean and generally well-kept. The sliding door to the screen porch wouldn't lock but we felt relatively secure anyway. The free laundry facility was a plus. We didn't go in the pool but it looked fine. Many hotels on Longboat Key are large and overly expensive, unless you like that kind of thing. This one was more reasonable. Restaurants are expensive too. You can walk the beach forever!
