Enjoy a rejuvenating cottage living experience at this centrally-located space. The interior rooms are spacious and comfortable. Up to three guests are welcome to stay!

We assure you will have an enjoyable and relaxing getaway at our Secret Garden! Our guests are always special to us and are treated like our favorite family members.

You will be staying in the 1 bedroom cottage guesthouse which provides living room, full kitchen, laundry room, and full bathroom with walk in shower. We also have a fold up bed available. You will enjoy the large 55” television in the living room plus a smaller television in the bedroom for your convenience.

The guesthouse has a separate entrance and is attached to the rear portion of the main house. You will enjoy your own private patio with outdoor dining and seating area as you relax in our tropical garden getaway!

If you decide to mingle, you may prefer meeting new worldwide friends from near and far and enjoy our amenities in the shared space which is on the opposite side of your private patio space. You’ll find a beautiful large pergola, gas fire pit, gas grill, and golf putting area. The entire yard is fenced with vinyl privacy fencing.

Nearby there are many opportunities to visit coffee shops, fine restaurants and a variety selection of different shopping centers, nature trails, kayaking in the mangrove tunnels, jogging, biking, and so much more!

You will be within 15 minutes of Lido Beach, Siesta Key Beach, and within 3 minutes of downtown Sarasota. SRQ Airport is just 20 minutes away and accessible via bus or Uber. Punta Gorda PGD Airport is just 50 minutes, Tampa TPA and Clearwater PIE airports are approximately 1 hour.

Features:
The laundry room is an added benefit for your use and shared with the main house.

We provide bottled water, body wash, shampoo, conditioner, laundry detergent, all dishes, silverware, coffee filters, coffee, creamer, sugar, salt, pepper, pots and pans, basic kitchen utensils, toaster and microwave.

Towels and linens are fresh and clean. Your bed is welcoming and cozy, waiting for your blissful and relaxing sleep.

We have a high chair and play yard available at your request. Please ask for these in advance so we can have them ready for your stay.

Very cozy

Very small, but clean. Nicely decorated. Description states bottled water was provided. We did not get any bottled water. My only complaint was the nasty, worn out, torn paper shades on the door and kitchen windows. Made the unit look cheap. Would have been nice to open the shades in the morning. Unit is attached to the main house so we could hear the residents.

Sarasota Stay

The house was very clean, but it is older and worn looking. The bed was comfy and the towels were very nice. The shower was the perfect height for me and I am 5 foot 2, but for my 6 foot husband, it was too short. There is another unit they rent that shares a walk through laundry room with the main house. I thought the units were on the same property but detached. The only thing that separates the two units is the walk through laundry room. The is only a push button lock on the door knob. I would have felt better if there had been a dead bolt I could have latched on our side of the door. When the other people would move around in their unit, it sounded like they were literally in our kitchen. Also, where they park is right under the window of the master bedroom where we were sleeping. They were quiet, but they got back to their unit very late and when they locked their car their horn was very loud and gave us a jump scare as we were already asleep. If we had family with us it would be annoying to only have one bathroom for three bedrooms.

short review

Everything looked clean; although there was a paper cup on top of bathroom mirror, there was a lot of crumbs under the sofa cushions, kids toys under tv stands, mouse dropping in corner kitchen cabinet where hood vents to the outside. This tells me a thorough cleaning was not done. There wasn't a convenient way to access the backyard from inside the house. travelled with small child and not comfortable leaving her inside while in backyard with quick access. I wasn't aware there was a shared room with the other tenants. I was very uncomfortable sleeping not knowing who they were and how easily they could have accessed our side of the house. Plus they were up much later doing laundry, which was unfortunate. Speaking of laundry it was very inconvenient to use and I had to fold a load of towel before I could use the dryer. I do like the set up if using the entire house and will keep this in mind when traveling with more family members. Thank you
