What a cute little B&B! Staff was beyond kind and courteous. The grounds felt safe and were gated. For the price and proximity to the airport (35-40 min), it was perfect for our stay. The breakfast was lovely and the fellow guests were so nice to converse with in the super charming dining area.
We had a little trouble finding it, with 2 steep climbs that lead us to residential properties. The B&B was actually close to the main road and the gate attendant had just stepped away for a moment.
Room was very, very small. No biggie, but a couple luggage racks would be helpful. A\C worked great. Larger blankets would have been helpful for our family of 3. Would not suggest more than 2 per room. Since the toilet paper is not supposed to go down the toilet, a garbage container with a lid in the bathroom would be better.
This was the nicest (and hottest!) shower experience with great soap products.
No safe, but it’s very small and we were not concerned.
The beach was a black sand beach, about 8-9 min walk. Not a super pretty beach, a little rough, but hey it’s a beach. We paid a guy $20 for 2 chairs and an umbrella for a couple hours.
The adjacent beach restaurant, Father Rooster, was fantastic with an excellent staff and food.
We wouldn’t plan to return to this beach location, but the accommodations were great.
