”Actually stayed 2 nights. Needed a room with a freezer in the fridge so had upgraded room on same floor for 2nd night. Busy hotel, in a good location for our needs.”

”I liked the property and liked the room. There was two of us and only one bathrobe was the first thing I noticed, second was the coffee, tea, water downstairs was so basic if this is a VIP hotel. Water had no ice or lemon, and could taste the chemicals of the city in the water. Just a suggestion is all”

Appreciate a little more assistance from the staff i understand that the front desk gets a lot of request all day, to completely disregard it seems kind of rude from a customer perspective. ”The location is in a residential part of town, so it’s quiet at night. The owners are super nice and accommodating. The kitchen is clean, with a full fridge and stove, and the washroom is well-maintained, with a full tub and shower and plentiful towels. Bedrooms are also very clean, with comfortable beds. It was a relaxing little sanctuary to return to at the end of a tiring day.”

”Staff at check-in were incredibly helpful - room was quiet and clean, only thing that would’ve made this property complete would be a sauna or steam room. Excellent all around and will most likely return. ”

”This hotel is a gem. Built in 1906 and opened in 1908, it still features much of the original details snd is as preserved as possible. Gorgeous woodwork and artworks, original stained glass, and features of a time long gone, this beautiful place is a must stay for historians and anyone who appreciates heritage buildings. Dennis the manager is amazing. He took me on a lovely tour of the entire building g, which has many hidden features. Well worth staying at and I will again for sure.”
