”The room was very clean, and in nice condition. There were little things that made the stay easier, like a shelf above the sink for toiletries, an extra chair in the room, so both my kiddos could sit and eat. The pool was not too cold, the hot tub was toasty hot. Breakfast was good, they had plenty of variety of hotel quality food. The staff was the best I've ever encountered at a hotel, from the front desk, to the sweet lady filling the breakfast bar. I wish I could find a hotel like this in...

”The desk clerk was friendly and the room was clean and okay. Kind of what I expected for the area. The walls were thin. The pool is completely drained and unusable. The fire alarm went off in the middle of the night and it was a false alarm. No clue what would have caused that, but it turned an okay/acceptable experience to a bad one. It prob doesn't happen every day, but it happened during my stay and that's what I am rating.”

”The home provided a wonderful space for everyone to have their own room, relax and hang out together.The hot tub was a wonderful addition!We were disappointed that the bedding, living space and kitchen cookware and utensils were not very clean. We were also shocked to find that most of the windows were all unlocked on our last day. Made us feel a bit unsafe.However we did communicate our disatisfaction with the owner and he was going to address it with maintenance and his cleaning staff. ...

”Clean room and common areas. The hot tub was perfect temperature, however the jets did not work. The breakfast was adequate, but not well kept up. ”

”It’s a wonderful property- or once was….needs a million dollar clean up and update…..Staff are wonderful and the restaurant and Rafters Bar are wonderful hangouts in the off season. Nice trails and location. Easy access to Alexandria and interesting check points all around.”

”The Guest House was nice, very clean and comfortable. It had everything we needed, was perfect for our group. Chris the host was very friendly, had great communication and was very accommodating. We were very happy with our stay there. The breakfast at the cafe next store was really good.”
