Loved the property, but it was hard to find in the dark. The signage was not visible at night. The hot tub was nice but really loud and it is right next to bedroom area. It actually worked like white noise and put us right to sleep.

Hot tub pump would come on about 10 pm and stay running for about 4hrs.it was noisy and right by the bedroom. Also it sounded like rodents running around in the attic crawl space at night.

Was an anniversary weekend getaway. Beautiful little cabin for the two of us. Close by Helen for shopping and restaurants. Or stay at the cabin fix a nice meal. We will be back for a longer stay.

We booked this cabin for a nice few days to enjoy the hot tub. The hot tub was very dirty with brown around the edges and smelled like bad body odor. They came the next day to clean and told us we would be compensated for the night we couldn't use but never was. They did not keep they're word. I would not recommended using VACASA through VRBO

The cabin was very nice and a very secluded area. Down sides: the tub the water was not hot, the pots and pans needs to be changed out food stuck to it and the dishes was not clean I had to wash everything before use. The plates and pans had dry food and the glasses white stuff. Nothing major just a few cosmetic changes. We really enjoyed our stay with the area and cabin.

Place was clean when we arrived. The home needs major attention though. The refrigerator was super loud. The water pressure in the shower was terrible. The couch is too small and we found it difficult to sit comfortably to watch TV. The hot tub needs to be replaced. It runs very loudly and that posed a real issue sleeping since it's located next to the sleeping area. It's covered in white scale build up, the one corner had green stuff growing on the inside, the buttons don't work properly (the light button activated the jetts), and some of the jets are inoperative or missing. Didn't use the inside tub.

A nice getaway for our anniversary! Note: picture of parking area includes the "gravel street" which must be left clear for vehicles to pass. Available parking is a small area. Four wheel drive needed if snow/ice is on the ground. Very tricky without salt/sand. It isn't a flat area. Cabin is predominately in the shade and ice does not melt quickly. We were there 5 days after snowfall and it was still very much an issue. Steve in maintenance is great as is Rhonda on the cleaning staff. The main CSR # does not route to anyone local. TV is a streaming service with some limited live TV. Cabin was clean and comfortable.

Helen Georgia is a nice little town with amazing food and a relaxing overall vibe. There's a good amount of shops and things you see and can be done in several hours. The food is definitely a reason to visit, so many delicious spots and some of the best German food we've ever had.The cabin was cozy and in a great location. The layout worked great for the two of us and we were relaxed and enjoyed the entire experience. Parking is adequate for one vehicle.The only negatives were that some of the dishes in the cabinet were filthy and there was a pretty good sized crack in the doors near the hot tub that made it very cold. We were there in the middle of the winter and had the wall heater and two space heaters going on full blast pretty much the entire time we were awake.I would definitely stay there again.

The The Jacuzzi tub when we filled it up with water had hair floating in it. So we had to drain it back down and wait for the hot water to heat up again. Because water tank water was not hot enough to run cold and hot when filling so it ran pretty quickly. There was an odd smell when we came in the house and almost like animal urine . And a funky smell There’s a smell underneath the bathroom. I think the drain vent device has gone bad. Not enough towels, not enough silverware. Hot tub was awesome. And the v d was comfortable. It would be good to put a sign up Password is I eventually found it underneath. I hope he’s comments makes your future guests more comfortable.

We booked for our 6th anniversary. When we arrived, the door code did not work. Had to call 800 number times get new code. When entering the cabin, it was musty smelling. Did not smell clean at all! On the patio, the screen was torn and the hot tub was filthy ( we have a hot tub at home and we could tell it was not clean) . The headrests were filthy with visible scum on them. Water was cloudy. No way we would get in that tub! Jacuzzi was also dirty with scum . Luckily, I brought Lysol wipes and cleaned it before we got in. The couch smelled like dogs and the bed linens did not smell fresh. The wood floors were dirty and gritty. Vacasa needs to hire a new cleaning crew. Would never go back and would not recommend to anyone!

The cottage was as described on VRBO. It is a little more outdated than the pictures represent. The screened porch is in a bit of disrepair and the unit could use a bit of updating. We could not get the jetted tub to turn off and tried calling Vacasa. The first call we couldn’t hear each other I had to hang up. The second call was disconnected. I then texted and the representative was troubleshooting from a manual and was of no help. We did get it off. The button appears to be failing. This is a very special property and I would probably stay again. I would recommend to owners to switch property management company or self manage.

The cabin was clean and cozy, with all the necessary amenities provided. The owner was also very responsive and helpful throughout our stay. We can't wait to visit again!
