Beautiful Island Home with hot tub

Our home is halfway between charming Historic Downtown Savannah and the fun beaches of Tybee Island, about 10 minutes either way. It is the perfect location if you are planning to visit SCAD, Savannah Film Festival, Savannah Music Festival, St. Patrick's Day, or any outstanding events that Savannah has to offer.

Nearby you will find grocery stores, pharmacies, bars and restaurants for your convenience. On our tranquil neighborhood island, you can ride your bike or go on a stroll safely and secure, away from major traffic interference. Across the street is Turner's Creek, and the sunsets in the neighborhood are fantastic! Upon booking you will be required to sign and return the rental agreement/ contract prior to door code being sent.

All spaces are available except the garage, and two storage rooms on first floor. There is a video camera outside in front of the garage door and one outside by the yellow gate, in the back yard, and a video doorbell by the kitchen door, which are always on and always recording.

Partial privacy fence in back yard. Clothing is required when using the hot tub. Nudity is prohibited. Hot tub temperature is set to 102° and we ask you not adjust it.

AC is between 70° and 80°, and the heat is set between 65° and 78°. If you want it outside that range, let us know.

Please note, there is a Modern Day Carriage House on the back of the property and so there will be other STVR guests coming in and out of the back yard, using the gate next to the garage. They are not permitted to use the hot tub.

NOTES: ATTENTION: HOT TUB WILL BE INOPERABLE for serious maintenance and overhaul from DECEMBER 11th, THRU the end of February. And we DO NOT allow anyone who resides within 45 miles of Savannah to reserve our place.

Hidden important property details and odd surprises

Upon arrival for our private getaway, we discovered we were sharing the property with guests that were staying in a carriage house in the back yard. Access to the carriage house was via the back yard on a path that was 40 feet from our hot tub. The information about the carriage house was tucked away under the “about the host” section of the VRBO listing instead of in the “property details” section.We also learned after arrival that the hot tub was clothing required, there was not a privacy fence on one side of the property, the hot tub temperature controls were not operational and the AC in the house could not be adjusted below 70F. Any of these details would have been reason for us not to choose this location had they been know prior to booking.The hosts were gracious and timely with communications.

We had the BEST time staying here for our first time visiting Savannah. This house is located is a quiet neighborhood and almost right in the middle of Tybee Island and downtown Savannah. The commute to everything is so quick and easy and was the perfect place for us to stay with our family. The hot tub was a nice added bonus! Excellent stay once again

Excellent and Responsive Hosts!

Our stay started just as Hurricane Helene hit Savannah. Thus, our needs were exceptional. And even though the hosts were also affected by the hurricane, they were always exceptionally quick to respond and made the absolute best of a difficult and unprecedented weather event. I would highly recommend renting with these hosts!

nice house in quiet neighborhood

We had a good stay here, The hosts were very responsive. when we checked in, it was just dumb luck that the smoke alarm battery went off, but they were over and had the issue fixed in a few minutes. The house was comfortable and nicely decorated. I think the check-out instructions were some of the easiest we have ever had. I would consider staying again if / when we come back to Savannah.

Lovely home

Quiet neighborhood

It’s a lovely home with a great backyard. Has a swimming pool and hot tube. It’s only 10 minutes from the beach. There is a small place in the backyard they rent out as well. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to anyone.

The home was everything my family needed! Just missing a few small amenities- cooking oil/cooking spray and listed laundry detergent, small inconveniences. Overall, great experience and great location for both Savannah and Tybee Island!

Beautiful home with awesome hosts! The hot tub was great, the beds were comfortable, as was the entire home. A short drive to downtown Savannah and we enjoyed our stay very much. We could have used more towels, (at least two per person) but it was a minor inconvenience.

Wonderful place and wonderful hosts

My family and I came to Savannah to check out Savannah College of Art and Design with my daughter. I chose this place for the location and price. The house is so beautiful and clean. It sits minutes from downtown Savannah and Tybee Island. Communication with hosts was excellent. The directions they left were easy to follow for the home. Would not hesitate to stay here again. Highly recommend.
