Cohen House tarjoaa täydellisen yhdistelmän historiallista luonnetta ja arjen mukavuutta. 4 makuuhuonetta ja 3. 5 kylpyhuonetta, tämä koti voi mukavasti majoittaa kahdeksan Lucky vieraille. Sijaitsee Jones Street, heräät joitakin kauneimmista näkymistä kaupungissa ja on lyhyen kävelymatkan päässä useita historiallisia maamerkkejä ja kiinnostavia kohteita.

Tämän talon ensimmäisessä kerroksessa on yksi portaiden portaikko, yli puutarhan huoneiston. Tulet sisään labi, jossa voit kävellä suoraan takaisin keittiölle, mennä yläkertaan tai tulla olohuoneeseen. Kaksi suurta huonetta yhdistetty, asuintilaa on runsaasti mukavia istuimia ja suuri kokoelma kirjoja. Lattiasta kattoon ulottuvat ikkunat täyttävät tilan valolla ja muistuttavat päiviä, jolloin Savannahien verotettiin siihen kuinka monta ovet heidän kotiinsa olivat. Virallinen ruokasali on istumapaikat kuudelle, lisäpöydällä ja tuoleilla syödä-keittiössä, jossa on lisäksi oleskelualue ja TV. Kaksi kaksi uunia ja kaksi liesi topit, tämä koti on täydellinen perheen loma getaway!

Ensimmäisessä neljän makuuhuoneessa on king-size-vuode, sohva ja ranskalaiset ovet yksityiselle kannelle, josta on näköala sisäpihalle. Toisessa makuuhuoneessa on queen-size-vuode ja oma kylpyamme, jossa on erillinen kylpyamme. Kahdella kaapilla on runsaasti tilaa purkaa ja asettua sisään. Kolmannessa kerroksessa on kaksi viimeistä makuuhuonetta. Nämä yhdistetyt makuuhuoneet sopivat lapsille! Tärkeimmistä huoneista on queen-size-vuode ja kirjoituspöytä, ja viereisessä huoneessa on kaksi erillistä vuodetta

Aloita etsintäpäiväsi Clary's Cafessa, jossa on useita aamiaisnäkymiä Midnightissa Hyvän ja Pahan puutarhassa. Cohen House on vain lyhyen kävelymatkan päässä St. John the Baptist, joka oli kunnostettu merkittävästi säilyttämään kauniit lasimaikkansa ja arkkitehtonisen koskemattomuutensa. Muutama korttelin päässä Bull Streetin ja Libertyn kulmasta löytyy paikallisia kauppoja, joissa on kaikki käsintehtyjä käsilaukkuja ja nahkatavaroita Satchelissa, Celtic-risteyksissä Saints & Shamrocksissa.

Lovely home in a great neighborhood

Beautiful historic home on the best street in Savannah. Location can't be beat. Couple houses down from Mrs. Wilkes dining room so you can trade off with family members while you wait in line ;-) This home is clean and comfortable but could use a little refresh in the bathrooms and some furnishings. Photos are fairly accurate, but you'll find beds without dust ruffles and some pretty well loved furniture in the kitchen sitting room. As long as you know what to expect you should be fine. Again, great location. During one freezing cold, pouring rain evening we ran around the corner for a fantastic meal at the Crystal Beer Parlor, delicious!

Several chairs and sofas in the living areas were dingy, dirty and rugs need cleaning. The seating around the glass table in the sun room left flecks of the leather material on clothes. This is a beautiful, historic home, but with some updates, it could be a 5 star home. I'd recommend this to a friend if the owner is willing to make suggested changes.

We completely enjoyed our stay overall and would recommend the house to anyone that needs something large enough while being walking distance to downtown, and its lovely staying on the famous Jones street with all its beauty. The things that didn't make the house better were The twin beds and the queen bed on the 3rd floor, the mattresses were not the best, but doable. We were low on wash cloths however a few were brought over from the rental company. Be ready for exercise, this house has 3 levels of stairs, not counting the ones you encounter to get into the home, only wish it had at least a dumbwaiter to keep from going up and down, but the exercise was good.

The location is great for walking to everything, (less than 1 mile, but pretty & EASY walking distance).Very quiet. House is 3 floors which allows for quiet sleeping, yet gathering on the first floor without interrupting those on the 2nd or 3rd floor.Had it been slightly warmer, the back courtyard is a beautiful space with seating too! There is 1/2 bath on 1st floor. Parking was not an issue. Easy to use app and pay for the day (8am-1pm, then again 1-5) Free parking after 5pm Friday. No fee on Saturday & Sunday. Also ample dishware and glasses. For our 3 night stay, had enough toilet paper, so the extra I brought, wasn't necessary. This was an amazing house for 8, very comfortable. Thank you

The home was large fir a big family but it needs to be updated with new furniture. The couch in the kitchen area can’t even keep the cushions on them. The kitchen set is old. The 2 other living rooms need new comfortable furniture. There is a rug going from the dining to the living room that needs to be taken out. It is rolled up on one end and people tripped over it especially the toddler with us. It smelled like fish in the mini kitchen and musty through out the house. I bought air fresheners to place in each of the rooms. The house is big and in a great location but needs updates inside and the back patio has cushions on the chairs that were old and full of green moss. You couldn’t sit out there.

Beautiful Historic District

Overall our stay was amazing. Probably one thing I can say is that although the house is beautiful and it has the 1800s feel there is a need to modernize it and give it the update it deserves otherwise it was comfortable and location was great. Close to everything and walking distance to the Riverwalk, shops, and restaurants.

The home is in much need of repairs and cleanup. We never even used the gardens because they were such a mess in the backyard. Walls need repaired, shower door and faucet need repaired some furniture needs replaced as all the feathers are coming out of the couch. Sadly the home is showing wear and tear and they're not maintaining it. You can't just rely on your historical building to please tenants. I hope that they invest some money into the property soon.

Multigenerational trip to Savannah

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The Cohen house was in a great location with the quintessential cobblestones and live oaks with moss out front. We walked to Forsyth Park and City Market (among others) from the property. With 2 grandparents, 2 parents and 4 kids we had plenty of room to spread out. While the home has been beautifully decorated, it needs some serious refreshing, top to bottom. Every bathroom has smudged, bubbled, chipped, peeling and/or missing paint. Every wall is scuffed, scratched, marked, splashed or otherwise marred. The furniture in the family room near the kitchen sheds an enormous amount of down feathers and the cushions can barely stay in place but mostly slide to the floor. The screen door on the family room sliding door has long since lost its connection to the frame and topples precariously if moved. The rug in the living room has a permanently curled area rug that is a serious tripping hazard for both the toddling and elderly set. It appears to have been tacked down at some point, but the tape is long gone. While superficially clean, orderly, and reeking of cleaning fluid when we arrived, the tired condition of the interior of this place seems not to have been maintained to the standard one would expect for the price and the pictures.

Great location, beautiful house

The location of this historic house is perfect for strolling the squares, Forsyth Park and nearby restaurants. The home itself is really beautiful, especially the first floor. Lots of comfy sitting areas, a lovely dining room, nice kitchen and a great deck off the kitchen for morning coffee or evening wine. However, upon walking in, the first thing we noticed was a musty smell. I had seen this in previous reviews and checked with the management company before booking. I was assured the musty smell had been addressed and was no longer a problem. Turning on the A/C (and later during our stay, the heat) and leaving the fan running seemed to help. The second and third floors need some work. While the master bedroom (2nd floor) and bathroom were gorgeous, the other 2nd floor and the 3rd floor bathrooms need updating. Although they were clean, they are dated and worn. There was mold on some of the bedroom windows and the railing on the deck off the other 2nd floor bedroom was in need of paint. Having said all that, we were able to deal with the issues and truly did enjoy our girls getaway in this lovely home.

Amazing time with friends

Reviewer Comments: We had the most amazing trip to Savannah gathering with friends after a long Covid season haul. The house in Savannah was absolutely spectacular on the most beautiful street and captured the essence of Savannah. The house was well equipped and had many meeting areas within the house for people to gather and have together and quiet time. It’s convenience to the river area was perfect would highly recommend this home to any Friends and family!

Great location!!!

I absolutely loved the location. Walking distance to a lot of restaurants and shopping areas yet still felt like a quiet street.

Wonderful Savannah Home

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This house is amazing! We had a family reunion in Savannah, rented three houses total. The Cohen House served as a hub for sitting around and visiting, eating breakfast before hitting the town for the day, and gathering in the evening to relax. With 21 people we never felt crowded here. And we loved the charm and decor! Very clean, well taken care of and overall just lovely!

The back door was also not secure. The back patio area had lots of uneven bricks and the furniture was not good.
