I do not recommend this hotel and will never stay there again. The only plus and the reason we did stay was that it was clean. It is in need of refurbishment and even that isn’t a big deal to me. The main problem is the Managment and staffing and overall feeling of safety and comfort. The front desk girl was not at all friendly or welcoming. She seemed pretty miserable and possibly under some influence of something. At one point we noticed her walking around barefoot. I had to leave the hotel at 6am one morning and all the lights were off at the front desk area and nobody was around. ?? We called the front desk to ask about some trouble we had with our TV and within a couple of minutes we had a knock at the door. I assumed it was maintenance but he didn’t acknowledge or speak. He just stood there. He mumbled and and I told him the Tv in the bedroom didn’t work. He told us to leave the room (?!) so we stood in the living room area and about 30 seconds later he mumbled something and walked out and the TV was working.
He made me feel unsafe and if I was alone I wouldn’t have felt comfortable having him in there. He flipped the switch for the garbage disposal on his way out of the room?? And then left. The strangest interaction I’ve ever had with any maintenance staff. We didn’t encounter any staff members that would be considered professional or up to par with what I would expect from Marriott. There were more issues but I’m out of room.
