Overall, I was disappointed with our experience at the Bohemian on a Saturday night. We paid top dollar for a “riverview” room thinking we would have a balcony. On Expedia. It showed a Riverview room with a balcony on it, so when I signed up for the room, I didn’t realize it had to specifically say “balcony” also. When you go outside and look up at the hotel most of them do have balconies in the riverfront , but ours did not. The hotel tried to accommodate us, but all the other ones were booked, so we had to stick with the room we had ( where you couldn’t even open the window ). It did not clarify that or maybe I missed it. I don’t know, either way we spent a lot of money on the room $671 total with the taxes and fees.
On top of that at approximately 2:30 in the morning, a couple in a nearby room started arguing (after coming home from the bars I imagine) and continued to slam doors repeatedly and arguing until finally 3:52 AM I called security. After that things did quiet down. I realize that’s not the hotel’s fault, but it was just one more problem with the experience. I will never pay that kind of money for a hotel room in that area again. I’ve got that part figured out.
