Inside, equipped kitchen with wood stove, large selection of dishes, Nespresso and filter coffee, kettle, toaster, oven and microwave, gas cooking stove, dishwasher, all open to the living room with multimedia TV, free wifi.

The corridor serves 2 comfortable bedrooms (bed in 160 or 2x80 if needed) including one with 1 bathroom + toilet attached, and a second bathroom and toilet.

A mini laundry room at the end of the hallway (washing machine, clothes rack, ironing board and iron). Also outside clothesline.

Two good sized double bedrooms, one with en-suite shower room. All rooms are situated on the ground level. Note one bedroom can be two single beds if required. Please just ask when booking.

Local Area

The location of the house allows a large number of activities with in order of proximity, between 5 and 15 minutes, the Forges de Savignac Ledrier, the Papeterie de Vaux à Payzac, the Nautical Base of Rouffiac. In 20 minutes, you will be at the castle of Pompadour with its racecourse, at the castle of Excideuil, at Ségur the castle, at the Moulin de la Jarousse in Angoisse. In 30 minutes, you will reach the castle of Jumilhac, the castle of Hautefort, and the abyss of the Fage. Hot air balloon flight from Hautefort and in Corrèze too. Many hiking and kayaking in the gorges of Auvézère, treetop adventure next to it.
A little further, at 50mn/1h15: you can go to the Pans de Travassac, the cave of Lascaux, the lake of Causse, the villages of Brantôme, Treignac, Saint Geniès, Tulle, the castle of Commarque, the Madeleine, the gardens of water of Carsac, the cave of the Grand Roc.

And for travelers ++, at 1h30 from the cottage, you will access to the Proumeyssac Grotte, the castle of Sédières, the dolmens of Miers, the archeosite of Fieux (hike), the castle of Castelnaud La Chapelle, the castle of Theil (restaurant classified in the Michelin Guide)

You will need to have a car while staying at this property as there are no transport links to the village.

The closest railway station is St Yrieix La Perche (15km)
Thiviers train station is also a good connection for (Bordeaux and Limoges) 25km
Travel by car to Périgueux and Brive is around 50km.


Accessibility

Although the property is not equipped with special accessibility features it is situated completely on the ground level with no stairs.
