”I think the hotel is either new or newly run as they seem to be finding their feet. Check-in was 3pm to 4pm and when I called to say I might be around 6:30, I was told "it's only hour and a half from Manchester" and "there might not be anyone here after 5pm". It felt a bit abrupt in all honesty but when I arrived around 5:30 (Friday school holiday traffic), they were pleasant enough. Breakfast starts at 10:30 to 11:30 which is very late and checkout is 10am. Weird timings, hence my theory they...

”Was a beautiful place.
Really helpful hosts.
Room-superior king was beautifully presented and had a lovely view over Peasholme Park. It was lovely and peaceful.
Access to amenities was easy, A 5 minute walk through park to North Beach. Then took bus which runs every 25 minutes to South Side.
Had breakfast in Bella Ross cafe just across road from Park View. Which was excellent then Talk Bar next door in evenings was brilliant 5 star to all 🌟
Had a lovely 3 day stay.”

”This is a lovely clean hotel and round the corner from the foreshore..but there are steps going up to front door which not good for my knee..but if your fit I would say this is one of best hotels in Scarborough.”

”Room was not cleaned on 2 days, breakfast quality was good but service disorganised, was 1st into Breakfast last to be served. Another room was broken into in middle of night, police also had to attend following night. This was my third staying at the Waves, last 2 years excellent but this year was very poor, have cancelled booking for next year. Two other couples who have been staying each year also not booking for next year. A real shame the change from last year ”

”Excellent reception by host and parking immediately explained and sorted. spacious room with sink and small ensuite excellent shower . Table prepared for breakfast. All one could want with starter full english plus toast and jam and yoghurt. Great location for me staying for the cricket festival which was short walk . Highly recommend as value for money”
