”Staff was above and beyond. Beautiful and easy! It’s quiet and perfect for surfers. For all of my Americans, they don’t have AC and you won’t need it if you leave your doors open to sleep. When I visited it was 70 degrees which is a little hot for the first part of the night if you don’t open your windows and doors. Other than that, it’s perfect. Make sure you rent a car at the airport so you can drive around the island a bit. Otherwise you’ll be dependent on taxis and buses or walking/biking...

”We had a great time; the sunset was amazing; it really is on an island!; we met nice other guests; it is a one room holiday flat; we stayed there with five persons; we used the existing gas barbecue and made some burgers; you need coffee powder!! In brief everything you would like to eat and drink you need to bring with you ; there was no direct Wifi (the neighbour kindly provided his access) ”

”Capitan Joel and Luc were awesome hosts. My husband took a trip out to get some halibut and had an amazing time. Caught a 42lb halibut to take home. The houseboat is clean and comfortable, we love the window to the sea. Such a fun experience. Highly recommend Strawberry Island for your next vacation.”

”Fabulous couple of days staying here. Amazing location with incredible views over the estuary and mud flats. Sadly rained most of the time we were there so no bear sightings but plenty of other things to do in the area. Apartment was extremely comfortable and wished we had booked it for longer.”

”Lovely Pearl the owner will motor you back and forth from your little island retreat. But you are on island with her and their neighbors and it isn’t simple to get into town. But everyone is pleasant and accommodating. It’s a funky fun atmosphere but one you need to be prepared for.”
