”I booked this online and reserved it. They charged me $96 on my credit card (I didn’t know they had charged me until I looked at my card days later. I thought I was going to pay when we got there. When we got there that evening, they said that there are no rooms available. So we left and stayed at another hotel in Schulenburg. I realized days later they still charged my credit card online. & he is REFUSING to refund me even tho we didn’t stay there cz they said there were no rooms left...

”Room was comfortable and clean as well as the entire property. Staff was great!! We enjoyed the breakfast- tasty and hot. Highly recommend anyone needing a room for business or pleasure choose this hotel for a super pleasant time.”

”Nice one night stop on our way to the coast”

”When trying to get into our room the safety latch had been turned to keep anyone from getting into the room. Had to go back to lobby to get help. The clerk tried to accuse us of turning the latch. Told her we were just checking in and haven't even been in the room. She had no way to get the door open. Had to go back to lobby to get another room. Then back to get my partner and carry everything to another floor. Was very inconvenient since we are elderly. Breakfast wasn't anything to brag about.”

”Always a decent choice of motel in Hallettsville for the price. Vanity area floor was slightly sticky, and the tub had a bad rust spot on the inside. Otherwise, bed was comfortable and room stayed cool.”

”Grass was not cut in the back of the motel, gave an unkept look. The room had drastic temp changes. Clerk was nice. The breakfast was as expected.”

”I did one overnight stay with my boyfriend and one year old. Unfortunately the pool was out of service, but the hotel staff was very accommodating and friendly. We drove in to Columbus, which was 10 minutes down I 10 towards Houston to go to a steakhouse and popped into their Hound song brewery for an appetizer and beer. Very easy location to access off of the interstate and close to gas stations, fast food, and Dollar General.”

”Was a descent hotel, stayed 2 nights with my kiddo and it was okay. Room had a window unit type of a/c where all of the controls were and it was very humid in the room, difficult to get comfortable temperature. Room was pretty clean. Comforter and towels appeared to be old, could definitely be replaced with new linens and towels. Overall, was safe and quiet and staff was very friendly.”

”For an advertised non-smoking room, it smelled horribly of cigarette smoke. The bathroom was stained and in disrepair. The bed was comfortable but the pillows were flat and not enough of them. It was cheap and convenient but I’d probably not stay there again. Towels were clean and having a fridge and microwave was nice for such a cheap room. Lack of deadbolts and safety bar was unsettling. The young lady at the counter was very courteous and brought my ID to my room when I forgot to take...

”The check in was super simple. The place was so cute and clean. We loved our stay. The only thing was the shower is definitely not made for tall people, which we both are. It does have a removable shower head so we did make do. Otherwise it was a 10/10 stay.”
