Just to demonstrate, the walkway from the driveway to the house had not been shoveled well enough and the host drove over two hours at night to take care of it for us. ”What a lovely home, thoughtfully decorated and fantastic location! We found the communication with the owners was super great, check in and check out were seamless. The fireplace on the outside porch was a very nice treat! The home has everything you need from lush bath towels, ample cookware, etc. the downstairs was a great play room for kids, with an air hockey table. We will definitely be back as we enjoy the wine and brewery area this home is so close to. ”

”This house is lovely, well stocked and comfortable. Beds were clean and very comfortable. The drive from the Richmond airport was super easy until about the last two twisty miles; if you are arriving after dark, study the map so you know what to expect. I loved that it was so close to Shenandoah National Park. We ate at the Blue Ridge Cafe in Ruskerville (recommend) then entered at the Swift Run entrance then drove south and came out just a couple miles from the house. Heads up to...

”This was one of the most well-stocked houses we've ever rented. The owners thought of everything. The house was very comfortable for our group. Access to the Tyro ski slope was 4 houses down, so no need to drive anyone to the slope. The view was beautiful - we would absolutely stay here again!”
