A Slice of Paradise: The Perfect Lakeside Getaway
I recently had the pleasure of staying at this lakeside cabin, and the pictures in the listing don't do it justice—it felt like stepping into a scene from a movie. There are endless trails to explore in the woods, a rowboat with life jackets for peaceful afternoons on the lake, games for both indoor and outdoor fun, and even a hammock to relax in and take in the beautiful surroundings. I truly felt at peace here, and it’s a place I’d love to stay forever. If you’re looking for a getaway that feels like a dream come true, this is it. We will definitely be coming back

Always a great time
Had a great time as we always do. Did not let the rain bring us down. Would fish when the rain wpuld stop. My grandson loves the fishing. We will be back next year. Thanks Kevin and Lori for such a great place to go and relax.

PEACEFUL!!!!
Our family had the most fun and relaxing time at this private and remote cabin! Our 12 and 13 year old boys never left the dock or boat fishing all day long. It if they weren’t fishing, the whole family was in the water swimming and playing. Grab a raft and float all day with a drink in your hand! Absolutely peace as the only thing you’ll hear are sounds of nature (no people or lawnmowers like our home in the city). And if you like blackberries. This place is loaded with them growing all along the hiking trails! Loved this place and boys can’t wait to go back!

Nice Quiet Stay
Property was as described, nice and cozy. I know in the description it said little to no service. We have AT&T and it worked fine! It was the perfect getaway to unplug and spend time with my spouse & dog. I would recommend newer pans for cooking and grill as we did not use grill because it was caked with residue. Overall, would stay again!

Very Peaceful
Cabin was very clean and the view of the pond was great. We enjoyed the screened in front porch and we had a good time fishing and it was fun taking the boat out on the water. Kevin answered all our questions and we would definitely recommend this place. We are planning on returning again!

Enjoyed our stay. The peace and quiet atmosphere was awesome. There were three things that needed attention. The gas grill did not work. There was no WiFi. It worked briefly and never came back on. The DVD player was not set up.

Nice cabin in the middle of nowhere
Cabin was super clean with everything you could ask for. It has a lot of space and it was very comfortable. The pond on grounds was stocked well as the kid pulled in a nice 3lb bass. Owner was very responsive for questions and gave suggestions. The only thing I wish it had was more walking grounds or clearer, longer walking paths in the woods. Overall it was all worth it. If you are looking to disconnect from the crazy world this is your place.

Omgoodness, just what the doctor ordered! Peaceful, Beautiful, Quiet, sitting by the fire, floating in the lake on a raft, fishing from the boat that was on property. Catching fish! Listening to owls at night and watching the darkness filled with lightning bugs. I highly highly and even more highly recommend this place! And no, I’m not related, lol I was truly in my Second Heaven❤️

escape to the woods
You can actually hear yourself think out in this cabin. The view is amazing and there is wildlife to watch (take binocullars) If you need to get away from all the over stimulation of your life get this cabin, It is not close to anything so take what you really need and enjoy. We drive probably 20 minutes to a small town and had some good food take out but honestly we couldnt wait to get back, I suffer from insomnia and I listened to tree frogs and crickets and slept better than I had in years. This is not a luxury hotel its a rustic cabin in the woods. We loved it!

Escape from reality
This cabin was eveything we asked for when we wanted to get away from our busy life. Updated and well appoinented inside. Beautiful lake and walking paths outside. Advised in advance of spotty wifi allowed for plenty of time for fishing, board games, puzzles and naps. We had a wonderfully relxing time and hope to go back in the summer. Thank you Kevin and Lori!

Cabin in the woods, quiet and delightful!
The property was as advertised with a lovely fieldstone wood burning fireplace. Kitchen very well appointed with all things needed for a comfortable stay. The lake and surrounding acres were really breathtaking especially because we had great weather - cool but very sunny and clear. Very quiet and private if you are looking for a true getaway!
