”Pool was closed for repair and we werent notified this was the main reason we selected this hotel. Dont get a room on first floor when upstairs guests got home late we were woken up several times. No workout space. Awesome spot and lovely view. Comfy beds.”

”My visit to the Red Lion was awesome! I’ve visited the property a few times and it never ceases to amaze me. The box breakfast is fantastic and the coffee is excellent. The lunch and dinner options are very good and I took advantage of both. The staff is super responsive and I couldn’t say enough about them, including the cleaning staff. The history of the building is all around you and the rooms are super spacious and the gas fireplace is a fantastic way to end the day!! Thumbs up all the way...

”Clean rooms heated and air conditioning. Comfortable beds with very large rooms The only complaint I have is that you can only get one pound of ice if you want more you’re charged 3.00 for a 5 pound bag which is really ridiculous. They should just get an ice machine to keep the guests happy and not have to pay for frozen water. Otherwise it’s a perfect place to stay and I would definitely recommend it ”

”We needed to book a one night stay in the area south of Boston and chose the Double Tree by Hilton in Rockland. It was a convenient location and we enjoyed a clean and quiet room. Front desk staff could not have been frriendlier and check in was flawless. In addition, it has a Bar and Grill on site so, when we arrived at the hotel just after 7:00 PM after a long day, we were able to have a nice relaxing meal and cold beverage at thier on premises restaurant and found decent food and outstanding...

”Winter decorations were over the top. Breakfast was awesome along with the staff. Clean. Only complaint was heater was set at 64 when we walked into the room. It had to be 74 or higher in the room. Had to shut it off to cool the room down. Is the best stocked BW with towels and cups. Thank you. ”
