”We chose to stay at this property compared to getting a hotel since we had other family going with us on our vacation. The home was clean upon arrival. There are some quirks, such as the hot and cold is backwards on most of the sinks and an outlet in the kitchen is sticking out from the wall. The amenities provided met all of our needs. ”We were in for my daughter's college graduation and while this was a 30 minute drive it was great to get away and be in the country on the lake. The house was exactly as portrayed, if not better. It had everything you needed from the kitchen to all the toys. Highly, highly recommend if you're looking to have a nice get away in the country.”

”The house was very reasonably priced so we did not go with high expectations. The location is great with spectacular views of Barren Lake. Everything is very simple with comfy beds and clean bathrooms. The rental was clean and comfortable. It could use updating but for the price it is more than reasonable and I can completely understand the owners not wanting to invest. Altogether we had a great time. Thank you”

”An empty house at the end of a dead end street, and next to a cornfield. Sounds like a great scary movie beginning! But, it was the perfect place for our stay. ”This property was so very perfect for a relaxing vacation! It is out in the country with great amenities in such a beautiful, peaceful setting. Things that could make a wonderful VRBO property even better: - having a laminated copy of wifi name/password and cleaning/leave instructions available. All of this info was provided, but it has been my experience many people leave this in the house as well. - a corkscrew & bottle opener (luckily had my own) - recommendations for restaurants and/or places to buy food/liquor would be helpful too!”
