”Booked a room at the last minute as we were visiting relatives in the area and decided to stay a night. We managed to get the last parking spot when we returned from an evening with them.”

”Beautiful hotel with an excellent breakfast included. But we had an issue with the air conditioning. Don't think it was working at all which made it very uncomfortable to sleep. After the first night we told a young man about the problem and was assured it would be fixed. But it was not.”

”Very nice hotel outside of Wexford city. Restaurant had very nice seafood chowder and nothing to complain with other dishes. ”

”The hotel is older and could use updating. Landscaping appears to be overgrown in some areas. Outside our window was an old grocery cart and a piece of fencing. Not sure why it was there. Parking was limited and there was no air conditioning. Showers were very small.”

”We both enjoyed our stay at the Talbot Hotel, Wexford. We found the staff friendly and helpful. . The breakfast offered many choices to suit both our tastes. We left early on the last day and the Hotel provided a very good breakfast for our journey. We hope to stay there again.”

”We had a warm welcome from Pauline and Chris who were throughout great hosts - happy to help with local visits and places to eat. A lovely setting on a useful through route just 35 minutes from the port.”

”Overall stay was good. Room was very clean and the staff were friendly. No early checkin was available, so I had to wait nearly 3 hours to get my room. Parking is terrible for this place. Basically, a dirt parking lot. Very difficult to find a spot. Also, paid about $30 dollars for the fish and chips. TERRIBLE. Peas were nearly cold and poor quality fish. Would not eat there again but I would stay there for location and cleanliness.”

”We had a 3 bedroom apartment with 2 bathrooms. It was clean and the views were lovely from living room and the 2 double rooms. The twin faced a different direction but it was still very comfortable. It was great to have our own kitchen and the little balcony accessed through the 2 main bedrooms. The receptionist we saw on arrival and departure of our 2 night stay was lovely and went above and beyond her duties by running down the promenade after us when she realised that my disabled friend had...

The chioce of breakfasts were the best that we have ever had and the evening meals were delicious and beautifully presented. Our room was bright, and so welcoming. The beds were confortable too. I really cannot say enough good about our stay other than I wish it had been much longer. A perfect place to stay !!”
