”You will not be disappointed with what you see once you see inside the doors. Beautifully decorated and everything you need, but... it is more like a modular 4-apartment home / b&b - no ocean view, at the end of a dirt road (lots of dust), but a few deer met us as we unpacked. We were skeptical at first, yet pleasantly surprised with our stay. I highly recommend, so long as your expectations are set.”

”I hate to write negative things, this inn has many things going for it. The mattress in room 6, however, badly needs to be replaced. You sink in about six inches when you sit and the springs squeak and groan every time you move. There is only one accessible grounded outlet by the door. Other outlets are concealed behind furniture. Ungrounded extension cords are provided. The market next door which presumably provides a free breakfast wasn't open for the season yet. Other than that, the room was...

”Loved the quaint feeling! Perfect location to Acadia & Bar Harbor. Upon arrival our flights were delayed, so I contacted the property to make them aware of a late check in. They left us our room key & made the check in process seamless. Rooms were very clean. Breakfast was good & unique every morning! Also, a plus- you are able to use the amenities (pool, hot tub, fitness center) at the property next door. Would stay here again 😊”

”Wonderful ocean view from our balcony. Front desk staff was extremely helpful and knowledgeable! Laundry facilities on site that came in handy and was not expected. Located away from the busy downtown and still had a beautiful view and a family of deer that visited daily :). The cleaning staff were very outgoing and helpful. Wonderful place to stay!”

”The most amazing free breakfast I’ve ever had! They had everything: French toast, sausages, scrambled eggs, and cheese, fresh fruit yogurt, cereal, the best blueberry muffins I’ve ever had. It was unreal! Complementary make your own trail mix! The pool was wonderful, the staff was helpful. It really was so friendly and clean and just a wonderful experience.”

”It is a charming property, with wonderful views of Frenchman's Bay. We were there early so some things ( bar) was not available yet. Our upper floor room with fireplace and balcony, were lovely! The mattress could be a little softer, but otherwise, no complaints. We look forward to a return visit in the future! Staff was friendly and helpful.”

”Location was great for Acadia National Park. Breakfast is lacking, a lot of things are out of order or unavailable. Breakfast staff was seen disregarding proper food safety in regards to changing gloves after exiting the restroom and practicing hand hygiene before dealing with food items. After politely asking the staff to change their gloves, they argued with us and then confronted us once again while we were sitting at our table eating breakfast.”
