”Well maintained older property with a gorgeous view across a large backyard. A great place to crash while exploring Maine. Everything we needed was available plus more entertainment in the garage we didn’t have time to take advantage of. The A/C splits were a welcome addition since it was 90 on some of our days there. ”

”The home is spacious and perfect for a large family vacationing in the Blue Hill area. The house and kitchen was well equipped for large groups. Ample supply of paper products was also a welcome surprise given past homes we have rented that had no Kleenex, minimal toilet paper and no paper towels. The grill, deck and fire pit were all well set up and the property quiet and peaceful. Great property!”

”We had a short three day stay in Surry and fell in love with the house. It is a bit of the drive to Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park but we didn’t mind it one bit. The convenience of the location and having a small store across the street really made for a stress free stay. Great back deck made for unforgettable conversations and few beverages to help take in all of the beautiful views full of eagles, osprey, ducks, geese and numerous other wildlife. Ina is a great host with exvellent communication. We highly recommend Youngs lobster pound. Ina provided us with a lobster pot and we cooked at home. Our only regret is not staying longer.
