”If the pool had frosted windows we would have used it. The pool is located so when anyone comes or goes from the hotel, anyone in the pool is looked at, no form of privacy at all. Our mattress was old, we could feel the springs, almost the worst mattress we have slept on. Location is excellent, on broadway at one end of the shops and easy walking to the beach. Views of the river are a plus.”

”Awesome hotel at Seaside. Historical building which is in very good condition, very clean and in perfect location! There are several restaurants within a couple of minutes walking distance. We prefer this kind of unique hotels that have as well some story behind.”

”Everything with the property was good and it was on the beach side. The check in process is not good at all. We arrived at the hotel and there is no one working there. No office. So we were looking back at our booking notes and there was no mention of how to get into your room. We walked around a bit and there was a note hanging by the stairs that instructs guest to go to another location a couple miles away to pick up the room key. There is no message during the booking process to tell you this...

”Great check-in and very helpful staff member. Great trail and walk out to the beach. Fully functional kitchen and Keurig type coffee maker. Only problem was the noise level from above and in the parking area. Very thin walls and floors.”

”This is a very nice listing and we would stay again. We did run into issues with directions to the property- maybe because we booked third party. Check in instructions could have been clearer and there could be more kitchen utensils like tongs, a spatula, a colander, etc. I did attempt to contact the property a couple of times over the messenger service, but did not receive a response to either message.”

”Great location and easy access to the beach. We stayed in a king/sofa room. I was very disappointed in our room for the $250+ price tag—I would compare it to a motel 6 and save your money. Bathroom floor and wall had what we believed was fresh dog poop in the grout which we cleaned up ourselves. With all the remotes not one turned on the television and no instructions were in the room. The cover on the heat panel had mold and the bathroom ceiling fan was filthy. No air conditioning, so I...

”This was a great location and staff friendly but I have never stayed in a VRBO property that was so tattered. Carpet had dog pee spots all over and bathrooms were from the 1970’s, avocado green and harvest gold. All cabinets had scratches and smelled like old wood. The kitchen was very nice though and beds were comfortable. I would advise to leave air freshener to cover the wet dog smell. Advise others to look closely at pictures as well. Table tops were worn and needed refinishing. ...
