”Excellent service. Especially the security guard at the night shift when we arrived on 9 June was brilliant and helpful. A very comfortable bed. The view to the parking lot was a bit disappointing. The breakfast was not quite at the level we expected but could be easily improved. For example, the fact that the spot to handle dirty dishes and trashes, which understandably gets quite messy, is right next to customers who are enjoying their breakfast is not optimal. ”Overall, I’d rate this hotel 3.5 out of 5 stars. The property itself is beautiful, very clean, and the rooms were spacious, comfortable, and what you would expect from a 5-star hotel. Unfortunately, the customer service did not match the luxury standard the hotel advertises. During our stay, we called the front desk from the room phone three separate times with no answer, which was frustrating and disappointing. ”Robin was one of the staff who checked in us. Very welcoming and kind. We visited Seattle for our anniversary and she did her best to make our stay special. Hotel is in good location and walkable to every part of the town. Good cafes around. Expensive valet but I guess it is much more convenient and safer compared to other parking around. The hotel itself is a bit outdated and lobby needs some upgrades.”

”New, clean building. Rooms are on the smaller side, and designed with poor ergonomics which makes for an uncomfortable stay. Had some trouble communicating with the front desk. We did not receive housekeeping service for a 5 night stay, this is unacceptable. The bathroom door is sliding frosted glass so doesn’t latch shut or lock and leaks a lot of light into the room during the night when in use. ”The Hotel Sorento is a beautiful historic hotel that maintains its original air of glamor and luxury from days gone by. My corner suite was absolutely beautiful, the bed was comfortable, and the food from the restaurant in the lobby, Stella, was superb. I was able to walk to Pike Market, and there are many restaurants and shops adjacent to the hotel as well, making it convenient to eat and to shop. I would definitely stay there again.”
