”This is a return trip to this sweet little space for us. So well designed and we never felt cramped. Great location. A decent variety of restaurants in Guerneville, and close access to Johnson’s beach gave us an easy time. Kayaking by day and dining out by night. Perfect Russian River getaway. Owners live right next door and are very responsive to requests and general communication. ”

”The property was exactly as pictured. It was clean, and the host took such attention to detail (a box of Kleenex in two rooms, ample dishes, glasses and flatware, a variety of coffee makers (machine, French press, and cone!), and welcoming snacks and drinks. The bed and sofa were very comfortable and we had everything we needed for a very comfortable stay.”

”Excellent communication, helpful tips, air conditioning was a life saver for the heat. Patio and deck were lovely to spend time amongst the trees. I partticularly enjoyed the old school microwave and hood, and found the kicthen to be very capable. The baby travel crib was super helpful as well for our 9 month old.”

”Lovely place to stay right in the heart of Guerneville. Nice upgrades and lovely decor. Wonderful and private rear outdoor area with hot tub, ping pong, firepit and a great dining area. Also a nice deck with seating around the front ..great for sipping a glass of wine.Beds were super comfy, Bathrooms were very nice. There were special touches and extras throughout the house.Everything was very clean and it was super comfy!I would highly recommend booking Katy's place - you will love it!”

”We had a wonderful stay at the Old Timer. What a cozy and relaxing treasure of a house. The deck looking over the river was so relaxing and peaceful. The fireplace was a beautiful element that made the evenings so cozy. The entire space was spotlessly clean, and the space was just as it looked in the photos, with the comfiest couch to lounge on. I would definitely return in the future and recommend to others. ”

”It’s a perfect escape for a couple, a beautiful setting and very intimate. A couple of things that are good to know: the bathroom doors are louvered, so if you are not already on comfortable bathroom habit status with your person, this might change that! As other reviews have noted, the bed is fairly hard. Two nights would be my maximum. And if you are at all pillow picky and are wondering if you should bring your own, you should. It was a beautiful peaceful place and we had a wonderful time....

”This was our second time staying here, and it is AMAZING! Beautiful location in a vineyard and close proximity to numerous great wineries. So many thoughtful touches and incredible hospitality by hosts, Wayne and Pauline. Lovely airy deck for sipping wine and relaxing. We enjoyed a couple free concerts in local town squares and some great cuisine in Healdsburg restaurants. Well-stocked with many amenities. We loved it!”
