”Great place to relax. Large area to walk around, nice big pool and awesome beach. Not very crowded (March 2024).

”Superbe séjour dans cet hôtel tout juste ouvert ! En trois mois de voyage nous n'avons jamais été aussi bien accueilli qu'au survival. Un service 5 étoiles pendant nos séjours de 3 nuits. C'était une expérience très réussie de dormir dans des tentes Super bien équipées (très bonne litterie, climatisation...). Nous recommandons vivement pour ceux qui cherchent le dépaysement et surtout une vue splendide sur une plage de cocotier à la sortie de la tente !!! Presque les pieds dans l'eau.”
”One of the nicest hotels I’ve been in Thailand. The atmosphere is so nice and peaceful. The staff is very friendly and the location is really good. Rooms are clean and the outside bathroom is a nice touch. The only problem with the room is that there is no room for clothes and other stuff. We ended up using a chair for that.
We rented a scooter and drove around the island for a few days but you could easily just stay in Shantaa for the whole trip - they have everything you need.

The lady at the reception was always very helpful, ordering us a taxi and renting a motorbike. Not so many restaurants nearby, recommend renting a scooter. ”

Rekommenderar dock om man inte har för höga krav. Hjälpsam tjej i receptionen som hjälpte med ombokningar och hyra av moped.

Ruoka oli hyvää, mutta hieman hintavaa yleisesti Thaimaan hintatasoon nähden. Beach front villa oli mahtava sänkyineen. Huoneissa pienet jääkaapit. "Beautiful area with amazing views and lovely and sweet bungalows. Bungalows are quite small and simple with "outdoor" bathroom which was a little surprising. They look nice and we got used to the nature being so close to us.
It is a bit struggle to sleep with all the gekkos screaming through the night but you can sleep while sunbathing. In the middle of paradise those are minor details.
Staff is friendly and helpfull. Thank you for the visit.
