”I booked this house for the property, the backyard, the dock, and it didn't disappoint. It's also about 20 mins from the main town (Cambridge) which was exactly what we wanted - a break from crowds and the bustle. We had such a relaxing few days just reading, fishing from the dock, and kayaking. We were four people, but this would easily fit two families. A wonderful stay overall.”

”We enjoyed this beautiful house and property! We loved being able to kayak and paddle board right from the dock. The house was really spacious and well equipped. Loved the game room, pool, hot tub, and screened-in porch! A few minor negatives: WiFi wasn't great, pool heater wasn't working so the water was pretty cold, and one of the showers wasn't usable due to a major leak. Over all, though, this place was ideal for our large family, and we would stay here again.”

”Loved the property. Home well-maintained and well-appointed. Clean and comfortable. The kayaks, canoe and dock were our favorites! Trevor, the homeowner was accessible for answering questions or taking care of any issues. On day 1 there was a problem with one of the major appliances and I texted Trevor, who responded immediately and solved the problem quickly. Recommend without hesitation.”

”We loved this home. The location is excellent--close to areas like Easton and St Michael's, but out of the way and secluded. We loved sitting on the lawn by the Dixon Creek and watching the sunset. House is well stocked, and wifi is strong--supported 3 people who had to work. Highly recommend this beautiful home.”

”Wonderful stay at the house. The house was as advertised and had all necessary amenities. We had a blast together and didn’t have to worry about a thing with the house. I will note that the back steps that lead from the porch are very steep and elderly adult took a fall. A note on this or new steps would be great. The place was very clean. ”Photos are accurate and it was great to have a dock to go out on. It was very peaceful. Unfortunately, we didn’t catch any fish or crabs in late August. House has a comfortable layout. Lots of outdoor games for kids. Communication with the host was easy and timely. Close to Cambridge lighthouse, RAR brewery, and blackwater nature reserve. NOTE: If you plan on cooking with your group, I’d recommend bringing some basics, knives and serving bowls. The kitchen did have good pans, pots and lids. ”

”The house was very clean and was great for our home base while visiting family in St. Michael’s. The owner was very response and friendly. The house included all basic amenities and then some! The owner really took the time and care preparing this place for guests. Downtown Cambridge is a short drive and a cute little town with shops and restaurants. We didn’t have a ton of time to explore downtown but plan to on our next stay! ”

”We just left a week stay at Sunset Landing. The home, property and pool were all beautiful. We had 6 adults and 4 children. There was plenty for all to enjoy. The home came up with stand up paddle boards and kayaks to enjoy out on the water. The pool with a splash pad landing was perfect for the kids and adults. Many nights were enjoyed on the screened in porch with swing couch. And the interior of the house and rooms were all clean and very well laid out. Highly recommend a stay here! ”
