We weren't provided a check in email. Could not get a hold of property owner via phone number on reservation. Had to contact expedia and spent another 30 minutes trying to get help checking in, Expedia was super helpful and found 2 other numbers we could try. We did finally get a hold of the property owner, a very nice lady who apologized and got us our check in details. Its an older property so its appropriately priced.
Front storm door is missing the screen, broken microwave above stove, so instead of fixing, there's a counter top microwave. The refrigerator may be on its was out too, the temp said it was 48° which isnt cold enough for safe food storage temps. Pictures show a kuerig, its just a regular coffee maker. Watch out for the sunken living room stone steps, easy tripping, hazard with no handrail. Back deck is super nice, but one of the handrails going down the stairs is about ready to fall off. Super cute fire pit, but sadly, no chairs available to sit aound the fire pit. Master bath has double sinks that are very nice. However, one of the faucets doesn't get hot water. Overall it was a good stay especially for the money, location is great if you're headed in to Eureka for the day. The neighborhood is old and run down.But this property is secluded in the woods.So you don't really notice it once you get to the house.
