”A beautifully maintained hotel that was a great place to spend the night. We stayed in the tower with two and adults and two kids and was great to have three different levels, including the sitting room at the top with windows all around. The snacks in the communal sitting area was much appreciated and breakfast was very nice.”

”Easy friendly check-in. It was spotless from lobby to the room. Comfortable bed and all toiletries and hairdryer (not small one!). Service at the food bar was amazing and the so was the oatmeal. Plus is a Starbucks next door and Walgreens (for any last minute forgotten items😉) was across the street. Would highly recommend oh and Doylestown is an easy 25 min ride!”

”Be aware there are no elevators. We knew this but our room was on the third floor, basicly the attic, and we are both in our 70s. The air conditioner was noisy so tough to sleep. It served the purpose as we were attending a funeral in the area.”

In order to get "free wifi," you must give an unknown company your home address and your cell number. Otherwise, no wifi. Why? ”The room was to be non-smoking, it wasn't. That was the least of the issues. The room didn't smell of smoke but smelled awful- permeated everything from clothes to travel bags. Everything we had with us went into the washer when we got home, regardless of if we wore it. Bathroom was filthy from the walls to the tub to the floor. We did not shower there - tub was disgusting. ”I have been staying at the Globe, on and off, for over 10 years and I have never been disappointed. It is much more interesting than your typical "Hotel McMuffin" (Don't expect new and modern just interesting and comfortable.) The current, new management team has worked hard to keep it special.
