”Luxurious hotel with a nice pool and lounging area. Restaurant was good, if not a bit pricy. Overall, the hotel was worth the extra money. However, it is situated someways off the central city area and there are not many interesting sights within easy walking distance. Airconditioning in the room seemed to have only two settings: on and off. The humidity in the room was quite high for this reason.”

”I liked the location. It was very close to the Conference i wa attending. The security staff was also great. They helped get cabs before I downloaded two ride-sharing services and even then, they checked the license plate number. The young women at the front were great despite the fact that my French is minimal and only one staff had very good English. They were very helpful!”

”DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL — SCAM ALERT I made a confirmed, non-refundable booking for my wife through Hotels.com and paid in full online. When she arrived at Bi Hotel Sarl in Dakar, they refused to let her check in and told her they don’t accept online payments — only cash. This is completely dishonest. Why list your hotel on a major platform if you won’t honor online bookings? They waited until she got there to demand cash, even though the booking was already paid. No refund offered. No help....

"A great stay with excellent staff. The place is well-known with excellent opportunities to go to local market for example. The breakfast is a buffet style with good selection of choices. Then, the restaurant is an excellent with changing menu, some African and French choices. I ate there several times. Rooms are kept well. Would visit this place again."

"Overall, the hotel was fine, but not really 5* standard. The rooms are very standard "Accor rooms", with plasticy bathrooms and quite basic amenities. My shower was only partially working during the stay. Not that there were any major problems during my stay, and the staff were nice, but it's very hard to tell the difference between this and an Ibis for example."
