”What a gem! I absolutely loved staying there. The property grounds were amazing and absolutely perfect for my 2 dogs to run around freely. Listening to the Keuka Outlet was peaceful. It was great having trail access so close for us to walk in. The cabin and amenities were perfect for our stay. I loved the comforts of staying in the cabin with the feel of camping. Would absolutely stay here again!”

”Property was well maintained and lovely foundation plantings. Cabin had everything needed, low maintenance especially with a dog. No direct lake view, but very near restaurants right on Cayuga Lake. I brought more than needed, as usual, but hosts thought of all essentials.”

”We stayed in the cabin while we attended the Deck the Halls wine trail. The cabin was very nice and clean and all of the necessary amenities were provided. While the house is not directly on the lake, it is just a short walk down to the dock listed by the property. ”

”Thanks to Liz for making our last-minute reservation happen! This is such a unique property. I've never spent a night in a straw-bale constructed home before, but after this experience I think I'd like to do it more often. The home is charming, quiet, and peaceful, and maintains a very even temperature inside. Spent a few days here with my wife for a quick getaway, and we found the location halfway between Watkins Glen and Ithaca to be about perfect. So many things to do, if you want to...

”Nice cabin made out of rough cut lumber makes a nice family retreat. Love the building and location that appears to have been built by the owner. Plenty of room for 8 of us with beds with linens and room to spread out. It's on a small cliff side on the lake with a beautiful deck, stairs down to the water, and a dock on the water. I can't believe some old reviews criticize the amount of stairs? It's on a cliff side, what do they want ladders? Crazy. The stairs are very sturdy with a nice hand...

”The property was super cute. The hot tub was a great addition. The beds were very comfortable. The only downside was the lack of storage for clothes and toiletries if you are an over-packer like us. It was in a very good location to be wineries and breweries that were on the east side of the lake. ”
