”Great place, very clean and well appointed property in a quiet residential area. Lots of local wildlife (rabbits and deer) made the stay extra special. Not much around but we knew that in advance. Local store does nice sandwiches.”

”Beautiful historical hotel, the rooms were comfortable, the bed too and we liked the vintage style fridge. Because this is a historical building the walls are very thin and you can hear everything! I'd give it a higher rating but the thin walls were an annoyance. Also, no AC in the unit.”

”Amazing weekend rental! Three of us (plus one dog) were looking for a last-minute getaway and picked this place based on location and availability. It was everything we needed and more - comfortable living space for hanging out, well-equipped kitchen for cooking meals, easy access to Langley and Greenbank for the meals we didn't want to cook, easy beach access. Plenty of towels, dishes, bedding, etc. - we are hoping to come back and stay again over the winter ”

”This property was absolutely lovely and exactly what we were looking for, for the weekend! The yurt was cozy and secluded and the walk to the bathrooms was not bad at all! ”Very special quiet retreat. I loved the setting: a beautiful meadow surrounded by mountains. The Dosewallips is a short walk away and you can hear it from the cabin. The cabin is adorable and not small, with plenty of space for yoga. The bed was comfy, the outhouse incredibly clean. I hope to return. ”

”We only spent two nights but really enjoyed the weekend break. Quiet location and the internet was surprisingly good so we could stream a movie with no issues. Yes there were a few spiders and the cell reception was non-existent but that was our goal. We love stopping by Langley and Freeland so this location was perfect. We did manage to be sucessful with our trout fishing which was an added bonus. Only improvements I could see would be to do some work on the shower so it doesn't leak...
