Asunnot – Serbia

”Location was perfect. Thera are god restaurants near by. Being in the centre of Belgrade we expected some noise during the night, but it was very quiet. The apartment is on the high grund floor, so no more than 10 risers to the ground lavel. The living/kitchen area is a bit tide up, there is no kitchen but you can prepare coffee or have som snack there. Fridge is the minimum size and no suitable chairs. We will spend another three nights there just before our flight back.”

”One night, no sleep, and no one willing to help We booked a single night at this property while driving back from a beach vacation, roughly nine hours on the road, with the plan to rest and continue our trip in the morning. That rest never happened. A group of children (around 30 of them) gathered outside, in front of the reception desk, and shouted and screamed from around 9 pm until at least 11 pm. I cannot say exactly when it stopped, because I eventually had to take a night pill to fall...

”I ended up being put in a secondary property. It was nice enough. There was no wifi or blinds which made it difficult to sleep. I also found it very difficult to communicate with the host. They told me there was wifi and didn't respond for the next 4 days after. Apartment itself with a few touches is great and the price was reasonable to. Might have just been a misunderstanding but they wanted to charge me for an extra day which I didn't appreciate given the above.”

”Good apartment if you're staying in Sombor. However, they need to improve the sound insulation, as you can hear a lot noise coming from neighboring apartments as well as outside. Furthermore, the instructions to find the apartment itself and check-in came as an HTML attachment on the Expedia website, which isn't user-friendly at all. Other than that, the bed was quite comfortable, and the apartment was clean when I arrived. I give it a 7/10 overall.”

”Host did not communicate effectively or efficiently on the check in process. They overengineered a simple letter box key pick up, demanded my WhatsApp to communicate off the Hotels.com application, and then left me sitting in the lobby for over 45 minutes on an evening arrival after a long journey. Had to ask for an apology before any was offered. When they realized, they called the receptionist, who gave me the key instructions from an unlocked letterbox. Why the over complex check in process...
