”My niece stayed at Joia in March 2026 and it did not disappoint. We were greeted with wash clothes to wipe our hands and was then given a yummy drink that had ginger in it. The lobby was beautiful. Kayla was warm and inviting when she checked us in. She told us, we were upgraded to a swim up room due to my Expedia status. The bellman was so nice that escorted us to our room. ”Great location. Right on the beach. 3 onsite restaurants which are a little pricey but excellent food and service. Clean rooms and grounds and pools. Check in process is a little slow but the staff is extremely nice and accommodating. One warning, if you stay in building 7 on the even side of the building ( such as room numbers 7102, 7202, 7324, 7422, 7532, etc.) there is a restaurant/club next door to the resort that plays loud music until 1 or 2 AM. ”My room smelled sooo bad. It smelled like a dog was in the room prior to me occupying it. I called the front desk multiple times in which they tried to resolve the issue by spraying the floors with a freshener. That solution worked for all is 15 minutes. I was just shocked that the Ritz Carlton’s rooms smelled bad especially since the hotel was known for having a really nice fragrance. ”

”I’ve stayed at this hotel multiple times (5–6 visits) and always had a great experience, which is why this situation is so disappointing. I was charged for a restaurant bill at 7:09 AM on the day of my arrival, even though my flight landed at 1:55 PM — clearly impossible. I contacted both accounting and management and provided full proof, but no one has responded for 10 days. It appears a simple mistake was made, but instead of resolving it, they are ignoring the issue. Very disappointing...

”Stayed for 5 nights with our two young kids. Accommodations were perfect for our family. Nice restaurant. We did the signature all inclusive and it met all our needs. I would definitely go back again. Staff was so nice and accommodating. I did request a crib. I was told it wasn’t guaranteed but it do show up around 8:30pm the night we checked in. Not ideal for a 2 year old but at least we had it. ”

”If you like to stay in a smaller and cozier hotel than big all inclusive resorts with several hunderd rooms, then Courtyard by Marriott Aruba Resort is your place. The location at the beginning of the hotel and restaurant strip of Noord is just perfect: Peaceful, but from walking distance of shops and restaurants. Beach is also a walking distance away, and for lazy people there is also a shuttle service from hotel to beach. We enjoyed our renovated, spacious room with large bathroom very much....
