The whole family will love the all-wood spacious cabin, surrounded by multiple porches with rocking chairs, a bench swing, & hot tub! Ideal for one or two small families, or perfect for Honeymooners. Oh, and we are PET FRIENDLY, so your well-behaved woof-woofs are welcome to stay with you.

Great quiet little cabin in the mountains for a cozy family vacation. Good distance from the commotion of Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg, but close enough to get there within a half hours time. Would recommend for anybody, especially those with pets who are well-behaved. The only con was that being in the mountains it's a very treacherous drive up and down the mountain on very narrow roads where a car can easily fall off various cliffs/ditches. This goes for any of the houses in this area, and doesn’t count against the great couple hosting the property. There were a few minor things missing or out of place when we arrived, but they were quick to resolve the most important ones.

We very much enjoyed our stay.It had mostly everything you need, please make sure if you book this property you go to a grocery store prior to arrival. Property was amazing, Navigating getting there was a bit challenging.

Beautiful cabin! Perfect place to stay and relax. My teenager loved both bedrooms being the exact same and all of the board games. We would definitely stay here again.

Relaxing Family Vacation

The house was great, peaceful and spacious. We had 4 adults and a small dog. There is 2 spacious decks, open seating area inside, bedrooms are roomy and the hot tub was wonderful. We will be returning to this location in the future.

Excellent getaway!

My family decided kind of last-minute to get away for the July 4th weekend. Since we planned to bring our dog, we quickly found that many places had already booked up that allowed pets. Thankfully, we found Allison and Jason's cozy space! Everything about our stay was easy. From the contactless check-in (good thing, since we got in super late after driving from the Nashville area), to the dual-primary rooms (perfect when traveling with a teen who craves their own space), to the plentiful amenities, and a fantastic location that's just far enough away from the P-Forge and Gatlinburg traffic (IYKYK) to feel remote while being close enough to visit the attractions. Allison and Jason were outstanding hosts and provided a few helpful excursion tips without being overly intrusive on our stay. The cabin was well stocked, better than many I've stayed at over the years. The cabin was tidy--though could use a good mopping according to the dirt collected on socks and bare feet--and the furnishing were comfortable. The space was also great for our pup. There was even a dog bed, though my picky girl preferred her own. HA! Many places in the area have unlevel lots due to being built on hillsides, but this cabin had a fantastic level area for quick potty trips for pups who aren't keen on climbing hills. Overall, we had a great stay and would definitely book again!

A true hidden gem

This property is the most well kept, well stocked property we have rented outside of Europe where the focus is on the guest experience instead of the most lucrative for the owner. The cabin is a hidden gem in the mountains where it has not been overbuilt like a majority of other locations. The seclusion is wonderful. The cabin itself is beautiful and cared for with love which is evident upon arrival. Basic kitchen utensils/towels/hot pads, toiletries, towels (shower and hot tub), and soap for dishes/dishwasher/washing machine are available upon your arrival. There are some places that deliver to the cabin but I recommend you buy groceries before going up the mountain just in case. The roads are narrow and can be steep so a 4 wheel drive vehicle or a vehicle with snow tires would be best. The cabin is beautifully decorated. There are two full bedrooms with their own bathroom and a sofa pullout in the living room. The fireplace makes for a great area to relax and watch the snow fall. Honestly, this is our favorite stateside getaway. Ali and Jason are truly amazing. They keep in touch without overdoing it. They will help in anyway they can to make sure your stay is what you want it to be. I wish there were more people running businesses like them. They are wonderful people who take pride in offering a quality getaway for their guests. We will definitely be booking with them again and again!

Nice location

The cabin is in a quiet location conveniently situated between Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. It was nice coming back to the cabin to relax after hiking in the Park or enjoying other activities. Alison was very easy to communicate with and the check in process was a breeze. One of the light bulbs in the shower needed replaced and she had it taken care of as soon as possible. She checked in with us to see how we were doing and offered suggestions for favorite restaurants in the area. The cabin was spacious and comfortable for my husband, our two sons, and our dog. The starter supplies are a nice touch too. My suggestions for improvement are a new entrance rug because it has frayed edges, the front door needs a paint touch up on the inside, and the sink in the bathroom closest to the hot tub drained slowly, probably just needs a clean out. Overall we would recommend staying here because we appreciated how thoughtful the hosts are, the location, and the comfort.

Lovely Cabin in the Woods

The cabin was beautiful and well kept. Very clean and stocked with essentials. It was in a very quiet area with easy access to town. The owners were very nice and communicated well for check in and check out instruction. This cabin is in a great location so that it was easy to get into both Gatlinburg and Sevierville. We had an amazing time and would not hesitate to stay again in the future.

Cabin in the woods

Overall this was an amazing place to stay. The house is very quiet and peaceful with quick access to Gatlinburg and the Smoky Mountains. There are neighbors but they are quiet and with trees all around you, you can't even tell. We had hours of fun playing billards after spending the morning exploring the Park. Alison and Jason are very communicative. Check in was a breeze. Check out was a breeze. I will definitely stay here again!! This was the perfect place to relax and unwind!!!

A short getaway

The property was very nice. It was very remote, which is what wanted, but if you needed to run town for anything it was a short ride away. I especially enjoyed the jacuzzi tub. Only suggestion is if you're not familiar with the area is to arrive before it gets dark.

This property is beautifully kept. The road is narrow and steep but worth it. Just go slow and try to arrive in the daytime. The cabin is near others but there is no direct route or line of sight to this cabin from the others except on the road side which the bedroom decks open up onto. The main deck is secluded. Our dog loved it! We loved it! They have very basic cooking supplies but I was able to make meals without any issues. The owners kept in contact and addressed any issues which was a company level Internet outage. Fantastic rental and wonderful people!

Great Anniversary Memory

We booked Alison and Jason’s log cabin in the woods for our Anniversary. It was perfect. It was secluded, yet a short drive to everything Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. It had everything we needed and more. We had a question when we first arrived and they responded within a minute or two to answer it for us. It was clean and spacious inside and out. Will def stay again.

Fall in the Smokies

We had a wonderful time on our fall getaway! The cabin was perfect! We were so thankful to find a secluded cabin with all the amenities for us and and our dogs. The hot tub and jacuzzi tubs felt great on sore muscles after a day of hiking. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking up some delicious meals. The cabin is about 20-25 minutes from most attractions so you must plan your outings to allow for timely arrival but the drive is very pretty. We had a couple of minor issues with the internet but Alison responded very quickly and it was resolved in a matter of minutes.

Absolutely delightful!

The cabin was lovely, and sparkling clean. With nice weather, it was particularly nice to be able to just sit on the porches and hang out. Close to everything that has a secluded feel that it’s just lovely. Looking forward to a return trip.

Check in woes

The property is very nice and as described, but I think it's over-priced. Our family wanted a cabin experience, so I paid the extra but I think I'll go back to 5 star hotels. My experience started off terrible because the bridge to get to the cabin was out and I was not aware or informed. Then when we arrived, the code to get into the house did not work and we had the wrong wifi information and as a result had spotty service so the best I could do was reach out to VRBO who did not have the code either and the wait to actually talk to someone was an hour. Mind you, we were tired from a long drive, the food we picked up was getting cold and my kids needed a bathroom. VRBO gave me the property manager's number and I left 2 voice messages but got nothing. Finally, when we texted the phone number we got a quick response, but I am not sure why the phone calls and messages did not work. I had luck with messaging through VRBO prior to check in but could not use that way of communication when we got to the cabin which was super frustrating. Also, the property manager should have been alerted that there were multiple attempts at entering the cabin that failed as a sign that we needed help. Overall, the check in was a disaster which started the vacation off on a sour note and for what we paid it should have been seamless.
