We ask that you crate your pet when you leave it alone in the cabin and bring a blanket to put down on the furniture if your pet sits on it, though we prefer you bring the pet's own bed for it to rest on. Please clean up excessive pet hair if your pet is shedding. All pets must be leashed at all times while outside. Guest is responsible for cleaning up any/all pet refuse. Pet must not cause damage to premises or furnishings. If damages are caused, the cost of the damage will be requested to be reimbursed by the guest. Guest should prevent pets from producing excessive noise at a level that disturbs neighbors. Homeowner assumes no responsibility for illness or injury that may incur to pets or humans while on the premises. The Guest shall be solely responsible for the pet while on the property.

Please clean out the air filters regularly. Thank goodness there were some new ones in the laundry area.It was totally gross and unhealthy to breath inside the cabin.

No grab bar in bathroom, no anti slip stripes on bottom of tub, if it would have snowed we never would have gotten up that steep and very twisting road, place needs better cleaning and, in my opinion, needs a lot of TLC.

Our stay here was ok. I will say the location is convenient and the king sized beds are comfortable but that is the only positives of this place. There were cobwebs and dust on the light fixtures and fans. The stairs to the loft are extremely steep and unsafe for anyone with young children, pets,or elderly. There were no sheets for the upstairs matress that was on the floor. The description read futon so that was unexpected. There is evidence of water damage on yhe front door wall with peeling paint and patched holes in the walls that made the interior unattractive. The water was brown with an awful iron/mineral smell. It made us feel like we were at camp. We also did not like that there were no necessities like reynolds wrap, sandwich bags, salt & pepper, etc.

The host was upfront with all check in info. I reached out once during my stay and they responded within 10 minutes. I was not able to locate linens for the futon, so I had to buy some while on vacation. The bed pillows are very thick, firm and uncomfortable. The space was large enough for my family of 5 and 2 dogs. Great water pressure in the shower. There was a distinct unpleasant odor in the cabin. I bought air freshner which helped spraying a few times a day. TVs all worked with a clear picture and Echo also worked. Hot tub was clean and hot!! McDonalds even delivered via Doordash for my kiddo.

My husband and i stayed with our 4 kids ranging from 2 to 17 and it was very cozy and we had plenty of space to relax and have our own space. Hot tub was really hot and relaxing after a day of adventures. Thank you so much!

Mother/Daughter weekend

My mom, sister and I came for the weekend to relieve some stress and have some alone time. My dad has recently passed away and it was our time away together without any interruptions. We were looking forward to spending a lot of time in the hot tub, which never happened. In the future, you may want to be sure everything is in working order before the guests arrive.

Enjoyed the secluded and peaceful area of the cabin. HOWEVER, our 6 day stay was a bit disappointing because for 3 out of the 6 days we could not use the hot tub, which was one of the main reasons for renting this cabin. When we arrived, the hot tub was ice cold and not working. Tried to call the “host” person, Melinda, and was never able to get ahold of her or a response. Finally got ahold of another host, Audrey who was very nice and pleasant to work with, she tried to help via the phone however the next day she had to send out their hot tub guy, Josh who was also wonderful to work with. It still took Josh another 2 days to get the hot tub to work but he was great about doing what needed to be done to help us. His son Kyle even helped when the tv and internet went out. Without Kyle’s help we would have been screwed on that issue too. Also the free attraction company that Mountain Time works with does not work well at all for getting tickets to attractions. Audrey was able to comp our group with a couple of items due to the difficulty with these situations. SO HATS OFF TO AUDREY, JOSH, and KYLE FOR HELPING SOLVE ISSUES that should not have happened. This trip included 2 cancer patients, where this would be their last trip and it was very disappointing when things DID NOT go smoothly. We liked the area but because there are so many other places to rent from, I would not rent from Mountain Time Rentals again but choose another company that might have their business run better.

Husband and wife getaway

My husband and I stayed here as a short getaway. House was perfect. We loved it! We even got to bring our 9 year old German Shepherd and he was just happy to be spending time with us. Property manager was awesome. Would highly recommend.

Anniversary Trip

My spouse and I were on a long weekend anniversary trip. We picked this cabin for the bath tub since hot tubs are not an option for medical reasons. Needless to say we only used it once for less than 10 minutes. The steep steps with no hand rails were challenging going up and down to begin with. I’m glad we didn’t have kids with us because this would not be a good fit for them. The bath tub was smaller and put what felt like a closet. It really needs a good cleaning with CLR!! One of the jets are broken, to turn it on, the switch is by the door which we didn’t know until after we got in the tub and when we turned it on, all kinds of things were floating in the water and tons of soap or something came out and started forming so we knew it had not been cleaned since the last person! The cabin was also very musty smelling and the extra blankets and the closet in the one bedroom was really musty smelling. We either think it had been awhile since someone had stayed with me dust, cobwebs and leaves of it was not cleaned properly! We found socks and popcorn in the kitchen chair (which we left on the table)! Finding the cabin was a challenge because the sign at the bottom of the road was very hard to read and we arrived at almost dark. We were not overly impressed with the cabin in general it did seem to be a bit dated.

Do your homework when booking any stay

Small cabin with very old furnishings. The furniture on the deck was covered in dirt and not real appealing to sit on and enjoy. The driveway is difficult to navigate because of the brush that is over growing on the driveway. My truck has several scratches to prove that. The people who rent this unit seemed nice but if I had to do this over I would do my homework and find a better place.
