Nestled in the Smoky Mountains, near the popular resort town of Gatlinburg, Tennessee, you will find this newly built Industrial-Farmhouse Barndominium that definitely resembles the name, `Harbor Point Hideaway`. Our 2-bedroom, 2.5-bath, with an office and futon, fully equipped house has all the amenities you need for comfortable home living! You will enjoy both indoor and outdoor living while being mesmerized by the breathtaking views.
If you choose to spend time away from your cabin, you will find many opportunities for activities both on and off the lake. Only 20 minutes to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge, where you can experience attractions such as the #1 Theme Park in the U.S., Dollywood. Other activities, such as golf, wineries, breweries, shopping, kayaking, fishing, ziplines, musical theaters, arcade games, and mini-golf, are also available. The Great Smoky Mountain National Park offers an abundance of rivers, waterfalls, and hiking trails.
Amenities:
The downstairs area includes a fully equipped kitchen, dining room, and living room with a fireplace, as well as a 12-foot sliding glass door that opens to the large porch area, facing Douglas Lake. It also features a master bedroom suite with a king-size bed, a walk-in shower, and a private porch with a 5-person hot tub. We have also included a small room with a twin-size trundle bed, a half-bath, and a stackable washer and dryer unit.
In the upstairs loft, we have a bedroom with a queen bed, a full bathroom, and an open loft area that includes a comfortable sofa bed and seating. We have also provided an extra fold-out bed, allowing the house to accommodate eight people comfortably.
You will find televisions with access to Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime, Disney Plus, and a DVD player, as well as several movies to choose from. We also offer table games, cards, and books to read, perfect for relaxing while taking in the stunning lake views.
Outside our home, you will have plenty of room for games such as cornhole, Ladder toss, Tumble Tower, and more! As our guests, you will have free access to launch your boat and jet skis into Douglas Lake. Directly across from our home, you also have access to the lake for Paddle Boards, floaties, rafts, and other inflatable water toys.
