☆☆ IMPORTANT THINGS TO NOTE ☆☆

• Our goal is for you to feel at home and have a carefree vacation at Flying Squirrel Mountain Retreat. Therefore, you’ll find our cabin fully stocked with kitchens such as toilet paper, paper towels, hygiene products and so much more.
• You’ll find many little touches for an eco-friendly stay including recycling and many all-natural products.
• You’ll have access to the entire cabin except for the owner’s closet in the lower living level.
• The roads to the cabin are pretty easy to navigate, without any very steep mountain roads; however, we still recommend AWD in January and February, as the entire area is mountainous.
• There are no refunds for weather. We suggest you consider purchasing travel insurance for possible cancellations.
• There is parking for 6 cars in the driveway.
• Check-in is a breeze with digital locks and while your custom door code provides safety
• We understand that accidents happen. As part of your reservation, you will receive accidental damage protection for up to $500 (exclusions apply). We kindly ask that you inform us of any damages in a timely manner so we can start the remediation process. If the damage was caused by negligence, breaking of house rules or it falls under the exclusions, it may be withheld from your security deposit. Again, communication is key. Likewise, should you find anything broken upon arrival, please notify us right away so that we can correct the situation for you.
• If you are bringing a pet, this must be included in your booking so that the applicable pet fee is included in your rate. Please keep your dog leashed when not in one of the fenced areas on the property. Please be courteous and pick-up after your pets. We also provide pet blankets, towels and a vacuum so that you can help protect our cabin. We provide a 36"Lx24"W crate and ask that you kindly crate your pet when unattended.
• Per our house rules, you will be required to sign a renter’s agreement at the time of booking where a copy of your ID will be requested. Please be sure your name, photo and birth year are visible.
• Minimum renter’s age is 25 and ID verification is required.
• Also, per our house rules, you will be required to schedule a $500 security deposit hold for the duration of your stay. The hold is processed the day before your check-in and as long as the cabin and property are left in good condition, it is released within 3 days of your check-out.
• There is no smoking or vaping in the cabin.
• It’s BYOC (Bring Your Own Codes), so please bring your log-in and passwords to use the apps on the Smart TV’s.
• Guests consistently praise our attention to cleanliness, which is possible by our guests keeping the cabin tidy so our cleaning team can do a thorough clean each time. Our check-out instructions are basic, and we reserve the right to withhold money from the security deposit if you do not complete the requested tasks. We stand behind our cleanliness standards and will promptly address any concerns you have.
• For the safety and security of our guests and the neighborhood, there are two external security cameras facing outward from the front corner of the cabin. One faces over the driveway and one faces over the ramp.
• Safety is paramount to us! Therefore, we've thought of every detail so that you don't have to worry while on your vacation. You'll find things like flashlights, mini lanterns, first aid kits, fire extinguishers and emergency escape ladder all strategically placed should an emergency arise. During certain times of the year, there is an elevated fire risk in the mountains, and burn bans may be implemented. We do our best to keep you informed during such times and provide safety and emergency information to all guests.
