☆☆ IMPORTANT THINGS TO NOTE ☆☆
• Our goal is for you to feel at home and have a carefree vacation at Graceful Goat Adventure Cabin; therefore, you’ll find our cabin stocked with supplies such as toilet paper, paper towels, hygiene products and so much more. Many of our guests say that they only had to pack their clothes and groceries. Or better yet, use one of our concierge services and have groceries delivered and put away before you even arrive!
• You’ll find many little touches for an eco-friendly stay including recycling and many all-natural products.
• You help us make a difference in the local community, as with each stay, we donate to support kids entering the local foster care system.
• You’ll have access to our whole home with the exception of the storage closets (one in the master bathroom closet and one under the stairs) We also have storage in the theater room behind access doors that we kindly use you do not attempt to open.
• There is ample parking for plenty of cars for your whole group in the driveway.
• Check-in is a breeze with digital locks, while your custom door code provides safety.
• If you are bringing a pet, this must be included in your booking so that the applicable pet fee is included in your rate. Please keep your dog leashed when not in one of the fenced areas on the property. Please be courteous and pick-up after your pets. We also provide pet blankets, towels and a vacuum so that you can help protect our cabin. We provide a 30"L x 19"W x 21"H crate and ask that you kindly crate your pet when unattended.
• The street we are on is windy but has little elevation change. There is very little traffic, as it is a dead-end road; however, if you do pass another car, one of you may need to pull to the side to allow passing.
• We recommend AWD in January and February, as our driveway is steep and curvy.
• There are no refunds for weather. We suggest you consider purchasing travel insurance for possible cancellations.
• Per our house rules, you will be required to sign a renter’s agreement at the time of booking where a copy of your ID will be requested. Please be sure your name, photo and birth year are visible. If you would like a copy of the renter’s agreement prior to booking, please ask. We are happy to provide it.
• Minimum renter’s age is 25 and ID verification is required.
• Also per our house rules, you will be required to schedule a $500 security deposit hold at the time of booking. The hold is processed the day before your check-in and as long as the cabin and property are left in good condition, it is released within 3 days of your check-out.
• We understand that accidents happen. As part of your reservation, you will receive accidental damage protection for up to $500 (exclusions apply). We kindly ask that you inform us of any damages in a timely manner so we can start the remediation process. If the damage was caused by negligence, breaking of house rules or it falls under the exclusions, it may be withheld from your security deposit. Again, communication is key. Likewise, should you find anything broken upon arrival, please notify us right away so that we can correct the situation for you.
• There is no smoking or vaping in the cabin, sunroom or barn.
• It’s BYOC (Bring Your Own Codes), so please bring your log-in and passwords to use the apps on the Smart TV’s.
• Guests consistently praise our attention to cleanliness, which is possible by our guests keeping the cabin tidy so our cleaning team can do a thorough clean each time. Our check-out instructions are basic, and we reserve the right to withhold money from the security deposit if you do not complete the requested tasks. We stand behind our cleanliness standards and will promptly address any concerns you have.
• For the safety and security of our guests and the neighborhood, there are 4 external security cameras facing outward from the cabin. One on the front deck facing towards the driveway. One on the corner of the back deck with a bird’s eye view over the backyard. One on the opposite corner of the back deck facing the side yard, by the crawlspace entrance. One on the side of the house facing out over the driveway.
• Safety is paramount to us! Therefore, we've thought of every detail so that you don't have to worry while on your vacation. You'll find things like flashlights, mini lanterns, first aid kits, fire extinguishers and emergency escape ladder all strategically placed should an emergency arise. During certain times of the year, there is an elevated fire risk in the mountains, and burn bans may be implemented. We do our best to keep you informed during such times and provide safety and emergency information to all guests.
