”We had a very comfortable stay. The staff were friendly and helpful. It was very nice to have hot food available for breakfast. We didn't make use of the pool or gym facilities but these are great additions. The only down sides were: staying on the side of the hotel that faces the railway tracks (you can here the trains go by all night) and that there was no recycling options for plastic cups etc. ”

”Property was very clean and very quiet. Only a few problems….the toilet seat was broken, they didn’t provide enough toilet paper and paper towels (luckily we had our own) and they didn’t provide dish towels to dry dishes. Also be warned that there is no AC, but they do provide a fan. Overall though, good unique experience. ”

”Overall the Urban Saddle Ranch was an interesting and cozy place to stay in the woods! Accommodating and friendly with all necessities met. That being said, the main issues came with being in the woods! First issue was the HUMONGOUS spider in the bathroom!! Leg span was 3 inches easily and while it was probably a wolf spider, it looked almost like a small tarantula!! ”It has become a bit of a family tradition to spend a few days away from home after Christmas each year. ”We did really enjoy our stay! We were surprised by three things: 1) Pleasant surprise that some of the things noted as not being available, actually were such as coffee filters and chairs around the fire pit. Unfortunately, it was too rainy and wet to use them. 2) We didn’t realize just how close this was to the locations that we planned to go to. It’s a perfect location! 3) We’ve never before actually been charged for the security deposit. Usually, there’s just a hold put on your account....

”The property was well kept and clean. Management was very helpful. Unfortunately the cabin was smaller than we anticipated. Temperatures of 90 made it very hot inside. Larger cabins are available but not at that time.”
