”It’s in a great position close to the station and City centre. Very close too to public car parking at the station. You have to use a very narrow staircase to get to your room so not good if you have heavy cases. We only met one member of staff there who both greeted us on arrival and served breakfast. She was friendly and helpful. The room was great the bathroom was a good size too. ”

”It is a true gem of a hotel. Beautiful buildings, both old and new, and a magical garden. Two residents lounges plus a library with pool/snooker table. Reception were efficient and friendly, and the room exceeded our expectations, with wonderful attention to details. I am not a breakfast lover, but there was plenty of xhoice, and frankly the best hotel breakfast I have ever sampled. The situation of the hotel made it easy to walk to the old castle, and Sherborne itself is picturesque and...

”This lovely little studio is clean and very well equipped with all that is needed. The property owners left us a little Easter treat which was a lovely, unexpected touch that made us smile. Location is very nice giving the properly great views. Ample parking space, however joining the main road from the property can be a bit difficult due to it being on a blind bend. We had no issues pulling out onto the road during our stay, just have to be careful. Highly recommended this studio. ”

”Was in town to go to the Tank Museum. Lovely property that was a 5 minute drive to the museum. There was an attached restaurant that was very reasonably priced and a nice continental breakfast that came with the room rate. The rooms were clean and functional. The doors were charming and opened with an old school key. For better or worse, the doors were also older wooden doors and not terribly good at keeping the outside noise out. ”
