Very nice hotel close to Pudong. The staff is very nice and willing to help any way they can. The rooms are nice for a 4 star hotel, much much better than expected after you see the hotel from the outside. Not much to walk around the hotel ...

Very friendly staff, the girl at the reception speaks perfect English! It's convenient to shops. Lots of options for food within walking distance. Free pick up and drop off to Disney land and Shanghai Pudong International Airport. Good selection of breakfast. Overall great experience and highly recommended.

I had the best experience staying here with the family. All the staff have been super helpful. We went to the breakfast quite late and the owner has offered to cook extra dishes just for us. It was raining when we leave and the owner and a staff member walked us to the shuttle bus with an umbrella. On top of the friendly staff, the interior of the hotel is full of characters. Highly recommended to all and we’ll surely be back again.

お部屋も広くて、良かったです。 空港にお迎えも来てくれましたし、終始英語のチャットで対応していただき助かりました。 外観はホテルよりも商業施設感が強いです。 広場には子供向けの遊具？移動遊園地？がありましたし、バーガーキングも目の前で交番も目の前です。 １つ疑問なのは部屋番号で 3Fなのに8000番台の部屋番でした。 総合的に浦東を使用する際はおすすめです。 トランジットでビザなし入国して上海観光するのにぴったりでした。

I loved everything about this hotel. My stay was very short - only one night because I was in Shanghai for a layover. But I wish I was staying longer. Everything was great. The rooms were clean and the bed was comfy. But thing that made my experience extra special, was the morning right before I checked out. The breakfast was delicious, and the restaurant lady was the sweetest ever and made me an amazing wonton soup. It felt very welcoming. Check out was seamless and the front desk staff helped me carry my luggage to the car. Definitely have to come back and stay much much longer!

The room was freezing upon arrival, took several hours to heat up. Service was helpful and friendly. However, I tried to message them about a transfer days before, which was not easy because they only provide a phone number as contact - but phone did not work for me. Got no response and ended up exhausted and lost at the airport and overpaying a driver just to finally get there. The hotel decided to message me hours before check in which was way too late because we were already on the plane.

This is a hidden gem between downtown and pudong airport. The staff are top notch, the restaurant is simple but loaded with food choices. The decor is very warm and relaxing, the rooms are very spacious. Definitely will be staying here again.

We’re so satisfied with the staying at Moonlo Hotel. All the staff are so friendly and welcoming. They made sure we had everything we needed for the stay. Their Driver went above and beyond for us. We lost our luggage at the airport and he drove us to 2 different terminals and went in to the airport with us to make sure we found our luggage and head to the right direction for our next flight. The hotel itself is very quiet and clean. The atmosphere is very culturally in depth, but includes modern features as well. We are so grateful for everything and everyone there during our visit and definitely will recommend it to everyone.

Great Stay, was only there one night for transit via Shanghai but they were helpful and the hotel was lovely I didn’t have time for breakfast but it did look very good as I was leaving for the airport the next morning.

Was on a overnight connection at PVG, and booked this hotel. Overall it was a satisfactory stay. Their airport shuttle service was quick and convenient, and the staff there were all very friendly and helpful. Their breakfast was beyond expectation, and facilities within and around the hotel were comprehensive. We booked a family suite, and the room was a little smaller than we anticipated, but it didn't bother much. Regardless of the language you speak, the staff would be able to serve you well. Will definitely come back again for next PVG trip.

Excellent hotel near PVG, Five Stars
This is our second time staying at this hotel. It offers convenient airport pick-up and drop-off service. All the facilities were great. More importantly, the service is amazing. Everyone we interacted with were professional and friendly. With our evening flight, it also allowed us to check out late, which we greatly appreciated. Couldn't have asked for a better stay and will stay again next time.

Pretty cool mix of Chinese and western style with polished concrete floors and almost warehouse style ( which I like) staff very friendly and the room was a nice size . Free shuttle to the airport and they got the driver to take me earlier than booked . Very convenient .

Great stay at Moonlo
We stayed one day at the hotel. It’s very comfortable. Their staff nicely helped us to go around. The breakfast was good. The airport pick up service was great.

Good hotel, a bit difficult to locate from the map
Reception and restaurant are both sincere and good. Just the airport pick up service, the driver was not come on time and they grouped 4 customers from different terminals together that created some risk on late arrival. Finally on time but not felt well on the whole journey.

This is a very elegant and beautiful family run hotel… the room was incredible, everything from the wonderful walk-in shower room to the huge, amazingly comfortable bed and especially the pillows ! The interior design is so unique and heartwarming … it’s exceptional. Finally … the breakfast is unbelievably fresh, with a great variety of dishes and so delicious that I would go back just to eat there !!! And very Impressed with the staff … so kind and polite and helpful. Finally, the shuttle is perfectly on time from and to the airport. I strongly recommend to you this wonderful boutique hotel !!!

Very unique, beautiful and artistic. A real feel of local China. Staff wonderful. Rooms large and uniquely decorated with a calm and pleasent ambience.

The most amazing room I have ever stayed in. Like like them to offer a dinner / bar option for the evenings! That would be the only feedback. Service was amazing too.

Great place for stopover
Stayed for a transit stopover (obtained the 24hr. visa to leave PVG). Was a little difficult in organising the shuttle to the hotel - the number provided didnt work, and when I did get through, turned out they charged for post 11pm pickups. Took a taxi - showed chinese address - took just under 20 mins, 60RMB (take cash) At night it looked a little weird, the hotel seems to be part of a mall complex, and setback from the main road. However, the photos are accurate - the reception guy didnt speak English, but was very calm and proficient with the translation app - so checkin was no problem Room/building is excellent - my bed was huge, mix of large and small pillows, quiet, very clean. Breakfast was quite nice - was an egg/noodle station (that I didnt avail of), and a small but good selection of hot/cold foods. Shuttle to airport came promptly on time at 9am - journery to T2 took around 16-18mins. Overall would strongly recommend - would suggest the hotel put an email address to communicate beforehand, and put a google maps profile.
