”Lovely place, peaceful location. Great Bathroom, Beds comfy, Knives sharp and pans non-stick, everything working as it should. Probably the best we've stayed in and we have stayed in a lot of places over years. Garden fenced well and secure for the Dog. You can access short walks from the house but its only 15 min to walking beaches like NT cogden etc. and Symondsbury 1 mile up the road. So we had a very enjoyable few days.”

”Spent 3 nights in Batty’s barn for a wedding where our family stayed in all 3 properties on the farm. The farm is beautiful with loads of colours from the wild flowers. The welcome basket with bread, butter, jam etc was a lovely touch and very much appreciated. Ed was super helpful so much so member of the wedding party broke down in the day of the wedding and he helped bringing the family member to the wedding venue being a true life saver! Beds were lovely and comfy and the house was lovely...

”The Lodge is beautifully clean , well equipped and with access to a lovely garden and views of all the inquisitive wildlife .. We enjoyed the walk along the River Lim to Lyme Regis and onwards to a walk along the coastal path and back to Uplyme. There isn't much in Uplyme , but Lyme Regis is close , especially by car , where we found very good restaurants . We had a fabulous weekend break and would highly recommend the Lodge.”

”I cannot say enough wonderful things about this home and hosts. The home is so well appointed, down to the silverware. Every detail is rich and inviting.
Please ask for the breakfast. If the weather is beautiful you can ask for breakfast in the garden. Fresh orange juice, coffee/tea, and home made warm from the oven croissants and chocolate croissants. For a very reasonable price.
Ask about watching a sunset from the ruins of a Roman fort! The owner has a wonderful map with local sites and...

”Spent the weekend here with friends for my birthday. Really lovely place, large and spacious...looks better than it did in the pictures. We loved the large kitchen and conservatory. It had all the amenities one would need.
The property managers were very responsive via email and text. Our only let down was that the hot tub had broken down.”

”This beautifully quaint cottage is perfectly situated in the centre of Lyme Regis, on a historic Saxon lane. The hustle and bustle of the town cannot be heard from the cottage or the charming garden, with a rooftop and green hilly view. I would definitely recommend and come back if in the area again. It was clean, very well equipped and full of old architectural features, my sister, brother and my dog loved it. Thank you for letting us stay and feel so comfortable.”
