”This hotel has NO sound proofing between rooms! That part was awful! We could hear others conversations, what they were watching on TV and LOUD snoring!! It was like they were in the same room! Just didn’t feel like we had any privacy.”

”Flawless execution by the Gunrunner staff from beginning to end! The pre-arrival instructions were spot-on. Our room was clean and personalized for us when we arrived (they had left us a gift of wine and a card congratulating us for our wedding anniversary that we were there celebrating - nice touch!). We were staying in Florence to see some of the local sites and restaurants, but the highlight was the Gunrunner bar and many seating areas around the bar. We were able to listen to some live music...

”This was a great find in a small town with few choices for a wedding weekend. It is very close to downtown and was reasonably priced. Although decor is traditional-a-la-1994, it totally works with the double staircase, numerous comfy common areas + friendly staff. Recommendations for the hotel - or for travelers to bring if important - would be to add a full length dressing mirror somewhere in the rooms. That was the only thing missing and I’d definitely stay again. ”

”Our room had an infestation of bugs. Broken title. Carpet was torn. Shower drain would nit properltly drain.”

”I stayed overnight for a leadership conference. My room was ready early so that was a plus. I had a balcony overlooking the pool with a river view, in which I witnessed an amazing sunrise. I did have an issue with the cleanliness of my shower. There was long dark hair on the shower wall where someone had shampooed their hair. This was an oversight by the cleaning crew so I have to knock off a star for that. The front desk staff was very nice and offered to send someone up to clean it. ...

”It was the nastiest hotel I’ve been in. My family and I didn’t even lay our bags down. We just turned around and went back to the truck and book another room somewhere else. This was 11pm and still left”

”Filthy room, dead bugs, furniture and walls were in horrendous condition. The bathtub backed up when another unit presumably used the shower. The photos on the website must have been 20 years old. Unfortunately it appears to be the only option in town. The contenentall breakfast was cold cereal and no coffee. I would never return or recommend this motel. ”
