”Great food and drinks and a beautiful setting in the mountains. The room was clean and all we needed for a unique stay in the mountains away from everything. The hosts were lovely and our boys loved the mountain biking experience and being able to hire from the lodge. Thank you Porters Lodge for being so accomodating! ”

”The accomodation was very comfortable. It was nice meeting other travelers and our host Simonetta was very friendly and knowlegeable about the history of the estate. I would recommend to book the hreakfast with your stay. I believe the continental breakfast would be the breakfast included when booked. We booked once there and the breakfast with bacon and eggs was pricey.”

”We felt so relaxed it was like a holiday on top of a holiday. The bed was the comfiest bed we’ve ever slept on! Sally our host was very warm and accommodating. We would definitely stay there again. ”

”Friendly motel keeper. Recommended and lent us a new zealand dvd (Boy) for free, was worth watching. Motel was easy to find since it is located by the main road.”
