”This was a very pleasant experience. Check-in was quick and efficient. The person checking me in was very polite and pleasant. The room was very clean with all the amenities that is important for a comfortable stay. The hotel is very quiet. The bed was very comfortable. We were able to get an excellent night's sleep. For continental breakfast. They actually offer extra healthy options. In addition to the standard breakfast menu. Boiled eggs in a bag. This hotel is an exceptional value.”

”Let's start with where the hotel is located, Le Mar Iowa.... also known as "the sewer city" for the smell. In the room I stayed in the past was coming off the walls, the sheets were dirty, the bathroom floor tiles were broken and coming up.”

”The AmericInn in Sibley, Iowa was the cleanest, most comfortable stay that we have had in Iowa yet. The room was cozy and well maintained and the best part was that it was quiet. No loud, annoying guests who can’t respect others rest time. We will definitely stay there again in the future. The manager/owner and her husband were very friendly and helpful.”

”I wanted to sleep in my vehicle! Shower head was moldy, no light bulbs in lamps, pet hair all over the bed sheets, no smoke detector, mattress covers were stained!”

”Staff acted like it was an imposition to check me in. I needed to clarify almost every request they had because they were soft spoken. Room had a broken floor tile in bathroom, hair on the floor. In main room the lampshade was crumbling, another had to be wiped off.”

”The lady who checked us in initially was nice. But after we checked in and went to the rooms we discovered that the rooms were moldy in and around the windows, and even the box springs for the beds, the mattresses were stained. The bedding had cigarette burns throughout, the bathroom was filthy, and there were burnt wall sockets. We decided we couldn’t stay because of the health hazards so we tried to talk to Staff, but no one was available at the front desk for over an hour. We walked around...
