”Beautiful pastoral, location, self service (no staff or registration), comfortable beds, very clean room and bathroom. Nice gathering space with coffee/tea available. We did experience quite a bit of noise from the guests (who arrived after midnight) directly above us and since we were the only two rooms (8 suites total available) I’m not sure why they had us together and not separated. Both the bathroom and closet doors did not fully close without slamming them forcefully.”

”Spacious, beautiful, great amenities, Really well designed/appointed and comfortable. Loved our stay in the Echols suite - Historic, near downtown, short 1/2 hour drive to mile zero of magnificent Blue Ridge Highway! Only two negatives - the front slate walkway in need of repair or clean up - many loose pieces. Although access was secure and easy without onsite staff, two emails requesting early check-in/late checkout went unanswered. Do not know if other concerns would have been addressed....

”We had never stayed in a bed and breakfast type place so we didnt know what to expect. The grounds are very beautiful, the hosts are so friendly and helpful. Fresh croissants which were amazing for breakfast. It was a good experience.”
