Welcome to the Benham-Johnston Bungalow, an exquisitely restored 1915 Craftsman home just a few blocks from Main Street in the heart of Sheridan. This fully furnished, 1,900-square-foot retreat is brimming with historical charm, art, and creature comforts. Main Floor
Sunroom: Bask in the natural light of the sunroom—a perfect retreat for reading or enjoying your morning tea or coffee.
Living Areas: Enjoy a seamless blend of old and new with a frame TV for your favorite shows and a vintage tube radio with a Bluetooth adapter for a whimsical music experience. The newly reupholstered, era-appropriate furniture includes charming manual recliners.
Formal Dining Room: Adorned with stunning built-ins and wraparound windows, the dining table seats six, ideal for intimate dinners. Both formal and informal dish sets are provided to meet your hosting needs.
Kitchen: The beautifully restored Craftsman kitchen features easy-to-use, era-appropriate appliances, including a fridge, gas cooktop (oven disabled/unavailable), and a modern pull-out/drawer dishwasher. A stovetop kettle and a Keurig with refillable pods are available, along with a selection of our favorite caffeinated and decaf teas and coffees. Fully stocked with cooking essentials, crockery, and dishware, the kitchen even includes a vintage champagne bucket! (An additional modern fridge is provided in the main floor bedroom’s walk-in closet for extra food storage.)
Breakfast Nook: Right off the kitchen is a cozy two-person breakfast nook.

Main Floor Bedroom: Relax in the spacious bedroom featuring a full bed with Egyptian cotton sheets and a luxurious linen comforter. Enjoy a dedicated workstation and a walk-in closet with ample luggage storage.
Bathroom: A well-appointed bathroom with a stand-alone tub and shower is conveniently located just off the kitchen and main floor bedroom, featuring amenities suitable for all hair and skin types.
Second Floor
Upstairs Bedrooms: Discover two large bedrooms with cozy seating areas and beautiful details. All beds are dressed in crisp Egyptian cotton sheets. The queen bedroom boasts a historic brass bedframe from a famous Sheridan establishment, a luxurious linen comforter, a stained-glass window, a window seat, a dedicated workstation, and an expansive layout. Built-in shelves hold antique books and curiosities, while a phone-compatible vintage radio sets the mood. A large walk-in closet provides ample storage. The king bedroom features a hand-painted bed frame with plush velvet bedding for a truly lavish experience, along with a large armoire and a reading nook to unwind in style.
Upstairs Bathroom: The second bathroom includes a charming clawfoot bathtub for a relaxing soak.

Backyard: The spacious backyard features a stone patio, picnic table, and propane tabletop fire pit.
Parking: The front driveway accommodates three vehicles, with additional space for three more in the backyard driveway.
Heat: The home is heated by a steam boiler with meticulously restored marble-topped radiators.
Design & Restoration: Carefully restored by preservationist Luke Knudson, this home reflects its rich history while integrating select modern conveniences.
Access: The entire property is available to you with two small exceptions. The small garage onsite is locked, as is the unfinished basement.

Mid-Stay Cleaning Service - $50

Grocery Pickup/Pre-Stocking Service - Grocery Cost + 20% Fee
Arrive to a stocked kitchen! Send us your grocery list, and we’ll handle the shopping so you can settle in without the hassle. A 20% service fee applies, in addition to the cost of groceries. We recommend pre-booking to guarantee availability. Payment due prior to pickup.
