Lomamajat – Shibecha

”It’s a long way out of town (5km) with no restaurants or amenities nearby, so not ideal for hikers. No bathtub also a disappointment for those finishing a long hike. For some reason all the power sockets are situated in inconvenient locations. One positive was that it has a washing machine (but no drier) . Basically, it’s a 40ft shipping container in a field in the middle of nowhere”

”This is an old hotel and unfortunately it shows. Futons are thin and really old so the bed was really hard even though we had five of them piled up. Ventilation doesn't probably work correctly or it is unsufficient - we had to keep our window open and onsen roof was wet and molded. The hotel is clean and staff friendly. There is not many restaurant options in the area (many restaurants were closed). Good parking facilities.”

”Staffの対応は素晴らしい。宿泊機能としての実害は全くないが、全般に設備はかなり古く一部は更新が必要。”

”The onsen tub in the room was deceptively small for the images presented but the view was nice. This is a Dormy inn hotel.”

”Breakfast was great. The room was clean, although the toilet was a bit small. The car park was quite small for a hotel of this size, and parking was an extra charge. Overall, this was one of the better hotels we stayed at in Kushiro.”

”The family that operates the hotel really work hard to make sure we were comfortable. They offer a beautiful breakfast each morning in a lovely setting. Parking is available out front and the rooms are well maintained.”
