”I have the most exquisite experience in this hotel, it made me feel like im living in a forest, i got to see fox, squirrels and deers. I have the most relaxing time here, thank you sooo very much for your hospitality. I will surely return for next vacation!!!”

”This is an old hotel and unfortunately it shows. Futons are thin and really old so the bed was really hard even though we had five of them piled up. Ventilation doesn't probably work correctly or it is unsufficient - we had to keep our window open and onsen roof was wet and molded. The hotel is clean and staff friendly. There is not many restaurant options in the area (many restaurants were closed). Good parking facilities.”

”We stayed at Hotel Gozensui during our stay at Hokkaido. The staff was very friendly and helpful and onsen was really beautiful and relaxing. We do recommend eating at the hotel as a lot of restaurants around the area close early (we were there March 2026). For breakfast there’s a little udon restaurant that we highly recommend. ”

”Onsen is superb, with lovely outdoor scenery. Male and female baths will swop venues for different timings during a day/night so that one can get rooftop view as well as lakeside view. Hotel is by the lakeside of Lake Akan, lovely surrounding. Dinner and breakfast buffets are sumptuous and have lots of varieties.”

”A very comfortable place to stay while exploring the area. The hotel is quite new, modern, clean, and well appointed. The lounge with free drinks is a great place to process the day’s adventures while enjoying a local beer or sake. The staff are incredibly helpful, kind, and charming. I look forward to returning!”
